Holidays will be different this summer. Find out how travel is changing and what we are doing to keep you safe here

The natural charm of this area was memorably depicted by Gerald Durrell, and the northeast coast of Corfu is still widely considered to be the most beautiful area of the island. Owned and cherished by a Greco-Italian family, the immaculate and striking Palm Tree House epitomises Mediterranean style and sophistication while keeping the unique spirit of Corfu. One of the pleasures of this exceptional property is its gorgeous mature garden of lush lawns, fruit trees, fragrant jasmine and rosemary and ancient Greek species such as myrtle, heliotrope and daphne and, of course, palm trees.

The spacious interior is a very successful match of elegant antiques and modern furniture with a decorative accent on natural features: rattan, wood, mellow bricks and stone, cream linen and white walls.

The house and grounds have unobstructed views over the sea to the Greek mainland as well as Corfu town and a deep, shaded loggia with comfortable sofas makes the very best of this fine location. From the peace of Palm Tree House it is but a short drive to the mile long white pebble beach, clear sea and water sports at Barbati.

Customer feedback

Our third Simpson holiday and again a wonderful property in an excellent location. This villa is a particularly good layout for our family, some of whom needed the ground floor accommodation. Spacious and cool – after returning from hot days out! A short power outage was dealt with promptly and efficiently by Jo, our rep – thank you. As ever, Simpson did not disappoint.
The Mills & Smith families – August 2019

The cleaner, Alexandra, was very friendly and welcoming, supporting our early arrival with no fuss.
Mr Rosten – August 2019

Extremely spacious and comfortable villa with air-conditioning throughout. The layout is especially good for two families or individuals with mobility issues due to the ground floor annexe accommodation. Highly recommended.
Juliet – August 2019

A lovely week in a beautiful house! Amazing views and a great pool. Alexandra made our stay very welcoming. Highly recommend Nicolas Taverna in Agni – we visited on the Greek night, which was a fun and cultural evening enjoyed by all family members. Lots of dancing and good food! We hired a boat from Dany in Nissaki, really great day out. We visited Kassiopi for lunch, just make sure it’s a sunny/calm day as we did the activity on the day of the Greek cyclone! Very clean pool – we enjoyed relaxing every day and eating lunch under the courtyard. Jet skiing and watersports in Barbati – great place to hire. Corfu island – it has been a pleasure.
The Peach family – July 2019

A great week in this lovely villa – far enough away from everything to benefit from the beach but still convenient for exploring and nights out. We hired a boat from Dany’s in Nissaki – best day of all! Also went paddle boarding in Kalami, which is a lovely bay and perfect for this. It’s a stony beach so take shoes to maintain your dignity getting in/out of the sea! Recommendations for eating were all spot on – Glyfa, Vitamins and Agni – not a bad meal from any of them. Warmed by the sunshine and lots of fabulous family memories made.
The Osborne family – July 2019

We loved the accommodation at Palm Tree House, which is perfect for two families sharing.
Mrs Anderson – August 2018

Palm Tree House – a fantastic villa.
Mr Varley – June 2018

Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
