The name Anassa means breathtaking, and this accurately reflects the first impression of this bright, modern villa with its magnificent sea views. Anassa's peaceful, rural position, tucked away in the foothills of the beautiful Mount Pantokrator, belies the fact that it lies just one kilometre above the attractive village of Nissaki and the sea. The design of this cheerful house makes the most of its outlook. Both its large curved panoramic windows and its infinity pool face straight out to sea. To one side of Anassa the dramatically rocky hillside is covered in olives, Spanish broom and wild herbs, and inside the villa the colours are also of a rich, sunlit Mediterranean landscape: yellow, ochre, and cobalt blue.

We have had a fabulous week in Corfu – the weather has been superb and we have made the most of everything this beautiful island has to offer. We hired boats and swam and snorkelled in secluded bays, we explored Corfu town and the abandoned mountain villages, we swam in the pool every day and ate out in some lovely local tavernas. A birthday treat at The White House was definitely a highlight and the food was amazing. The villa was everything we hoped for and more and we have been really well looked after by Di and her team. Thank you for everything – the fizz for my birthday was a lovely surprise.
Ingrid, Peter, Thomas & Joffey – October 2019
First visit to the north of Corfu. Had a lovely week in this wonderful villa with its fantastic views. Even caught sight of the golden eagles flying out from the mountain one afternoon. Jo is great, a very friendly rep, as are all the Simpson staff. Took a trip over to Agios Stephanos beach on the west coast and well worth the visit for the long sandy beach and very shallow warm waters. Best tavernas for us were Vitamins, Glyfada, and Nikos Taverna at Agni Bay. The old abandoned village of Old Perithia is also worth visit as it is one of the oldest villages on Corfu, but there are now some very quaint tavernas to keep the tourists attracted. Had a fabulous time in Corfu.
Billy & Justyna – October 2019
Thank you team Simpson. You have again provided the platform for another wonderful family holiday for us. We planned a two-centre holiday for the first time. A villa followed by hotel on Corfu for two weeks, and it was perfect.
The Briggs family – August 2019
Amazing hot week. Wonderful to hire boats from Nissaki harbour (Danny). Went out twice as enjoyed the first trip so much and cooler on the water. Too hot to walk to Nissaki restaurants so hired taxi recommended by Jo. We had a lovely meal (and great view) at Vitamins, sitting on their terrace. Old Perithia is well worth a trip. Fantastic views in the mountains and the church, named by a volunteer – delightful.
Ali & Rob – August 2019
We have enjoyed our two weeks greatly. Had three trips into Corfu town. Agios Stephanos is a beautiful spot and Eucalyptus a good place for lunch. Otherwise plenty of eating places – both traditional and more contemporary offerings. We rated Mitsos in Nissaki Bay as best of the former with a lovely setting. For something special, try The White House at Kalami (great atmosphere) and Toulas at Agni Bay. Simpson Travel crew all good – Jo very helpful.
Tony & Jan – June 2019
Third visit to Anassa – the best villa we have every stayed in. Simpson staff always very good – many thanks, especially to Jo.
Kim & Trev – June 2019
We had a super week at Villa Anassa. The Olive Tree at Nissaki seems overlooked by other reviewers but that’s probably because it’s hidden away. The dolmades, tzatziki and meatballs were the best we had on the island. Dinner at Agni Taverna – ask for a waterfront table and time it for sunset – bliss!
Simpson Travellers – May 2019
Great two weeks in Villa Anassa with a fantastic view. Our holiday was as relaxing as an olive log!
Pete & Deb – May 2019
We all had a lovely time.
Elisa (age 6) – May 2019
Enjoyed the wonderful views from this property. Had a lovely walk from the property up the road to the abandoned village of Palies Sinies and then onto Ano Perithia for lunch – beautiful wild flowers everywhere. The local restaurants all seem good. Vitamins is perhaps more sophisticated but the one at the bottom of the hill does good wholesome cooking and is to be recommended, not so far to walk!
Liz & Paul – May 2019
Once again Simpson Travel came up trumps. The planning and thoughtfulness that goes into a Simpson Travel holiday from start to finish makes life so much easier for the holidaymaker, especially if they are senior citizens! Anassa is a gorgeous villa with breathtaking views and is just as it is described on the website.
G & V Solomon – June 2018
Our first visit to Corfu and our second time with Simpson Travel and what a fantastic Island and villa! We have had an amazing time from start to finish! The rep, Debbie, has been brilliant – making contact before we arrived, visiting on our second and last days as well as being on hand and very approachable throughout. She is very knowledgeable about the island and nothing is too much trouble for her.
Lisa and Caroline – July 2017
You always take the pictures on holiday websites with a pinch of salt – the view can't be that perfect, the sky can't be that blue, the interior shots must be taken from the most flattering angle, etc. But the setting of Anassa is even more lovely than it appears in the pictures. The view of the sea, with Corfu town on the opposite side of the bay, is breathtaking. I could sit for hours and watch the mountains of Albania change colour through blue, pink and mauve as the light changed. We could hear the bleats of mountain goats on the ravine at the back of the villa but only once caught a glimpse of them as they made their intrepid way across a almost vertical rock face.
Mrs Walker – June 2017
Simpson Travel is simply the best. If they don't go there, I won't go there.
Mrs Waterworth – June 2017
You get everything just right. Helpful yet unobtrusive. We've stayed in Paxos and Corfu and the accommodation was second to none. The reps at the airport were wonderful and make the chaos of Corfu airport bearable. I don't mind paying a little more for my holiday because I know my family will be in good hands.
Ms McBride – August 2016
Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
