Holidays will be different this summer. Find out how travel is changing and what we are doing to keep you safe here.
These charming apartments overlook the timeless harbour of Loggos and out across the sea to the hauntingly beautiful mountains of the Greek mainland. Perfectly placed at the heart of this pretty waterside village, with delightful balconies to observe the comings and goings of daily life, a stay here is to experience a taste of quintessential Greece. With everything you need on your doorstep, indulge in a tempting treat from the local bakery as you watch the fishermen land the catch of the day and revel in the sights and sounds of village life as you enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple on the balcony.
Both apartments, Nikos and Christina, have open-plan kitchen/living areas and comfortable double bedrooms with simple white décor creating a sense of relaxation and understated charm.
A stay here gives a real opportunity to be a part of Paxos life. The beach is just a stone’s throw away and in the village centre, pretty boutiques rub shoulders with family-run grocers and unpretentious cafés, adding to the authentic appeal of the place.
And when it comes to evenings out, there are half a dozen excellent tavernas to choose from and a couple of small bars making it a joyful rendezvous throughout the season for locals and visitors alike. However, whilst Loggos tends to slumber on in spring and autumn, in the peak months of July and August it awakens to embrace visitors from Greece and Italy and becomes more vibrant. So early nights in these peak season months are not the order of the day as restaurants are more buzzy and stay open later.

Had a fabulous week on Paxos . It was our first visit but won’t be the last. The apartment must one of the best locations and everything in it you need. We used the local but to go Lakka and Gaios. Also used taxis and very good on price. We loved the beach at Levrechio and great beach tavernas. We also had an evening at Erimitis Sunset Bar for the best sunset ever seen. The island tour is a good day out. We never had a bad meal the whole week. Julie, our rep, was a lovely, helpful lady and the apartment had a great welcome pack. Looking forward to our next visit.
Michelle & Glen (Apt Christina) – September 2019
This is the fifth time we have stayed at the Nicos Waterside apartment and it remains our favourite. It is right in the middle of Loggos with superb views out to sea and an excellent position for people watching.
Mr & Mrs Graham – August 2019
Had a great second week in Loggos after spending our first week in Gaios. Loved having the rooftop to while away the hours and people watch. Rested and eaten well – heading back to UK after a great holiday on Paxos.
Rosie & Copsey – August 2019
We’ve had fun being in the centre of things in Loggos – our first visit to Paxos and this nice little apartment was a great base. A week is too short to thoroughly explore but visited a good selection of beaches. A super holiday and we go home most reluctantly.
Wendy & Dave – Christina Apartment – June 2019
We had fun being in the heart of the buzzing harbour, with its wide choice of eateries and water activities.
Mr & Mrs Whitehead – Christina Apartment – June 2019
Fab stay at Nikos – lovely to watch the world go by from the balcony. Thank you to the lovely people who look after the apartment and to Simpson for a real gem.
Elizabeth – Nikos Apartment – May 2019
As usual a fantastic holiday organised by Simpson Travel. Looking forward to the next one!
Mrs Cowell – Nikos Apartment – May 2019
Waterside apartment, although very small, was very comfortable and well equipped and matched what we had expected from the website. The welcome pack and the apartment equipment were the best we have ever come across.
Kate & Philip Saunders – Christina Apartment – September 2018
We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of Simpson Travel and Paxos. The journey in both directions was efficiently handled. Apartment Christina and the Simpson Travel representatives were excellent. Paxos itself lived up to its reputation of beauty and the islanders themselves were welcoming, friendly and laid back. We met many holidaymakers who have fallen in love with the island and Loggos in particular, and have been going back every year for decades. We look forward to returning.
C & S Coupar – June 2018
This was our first experience of Simpson Travel – the customer service levels are amazing – the little touches that make a good holiday an exceptional one – the human interaction was first rate despite the faceless world we live in. The standard of properties was excellent, and the complex nature of our trip, were seamlessly managed to perfection. Cannot recommend highly enough (and I have worked in the industry for 15 years!).
Nigel & Lindsay – September 2017
This was our first experience dealing with Simpson Travel. We found them to be excellent. We also loved the location on Paxos and will return.
Mr Hopes – September 2017
Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.

There are few better ways of relaxing than on a luxury holiday in Paxos, where days fill up beautifully with sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and dining in style, the sea just metres from your table. Amble through ancient olive groves and you’ll catch glimpses of startlingly turquoise bays, the dramatic west-coast cliffs or the Epiros Mountains. In spring, there’s also a haze of purple honesty, wild irises and lilies and a sky that’s alive with birdlife, from hawks to skylarks.
