The builders of Villa Kalithea are well known for their love of traditional architecture and their sensitivity to the Paxiot landscape. This attractive villa is enhanced by a circular tower, which contains the light and airy bedrooms. There are a number of olive trees around the property plus a variety of shrubs and plants.
The villa's position takes advantage of some of best views on Paxos – a landscape of rolling olive groves, the west coast cliffs and the sea.
Gaios is five minutes’ drive away, as is the nearest beach, and there are some marvellous walks in the surrounding area.
Villas Kalithea and Asteri are positioned on the same hillside and whilst maintaining independence and privacy, they can be rented together to provide a spacious venue for an extended family gathering or a group of friends.

What a wonderful villa! We love everything about it and must say it’s the best we’ve stayed in Greece. This is our third visit to Paxos, the first was over 15 years ago! It remains very beautiful and non-touristy, very relaxing, quite sophisticated but typically Greek. The locals in the villas are very welcoming especially if you visit their tavernas or shop most than once. Thanks to Leona and Stuart for making our stay here special…we shall be back.
Pam & Ian – October 2019
Oh what a difference it makes to receive and experience true customer care! Many companies say they do this (but in reality don’t) but Simpson truly delivers! They go out of their way to ensure you are looked after, made to feel special and listened to. We just loved villa Kalithea, the location in Paxos and all the transport arrangements were perfect. Special thanks to Leona and Stuart who exude enthusiasm, great values and go the extra mile. Thank you to the Simpson team!
Pam & Ian Thomas – September 2019
Another lovely holiday with Simpson Travel. This was our third time in Paxos and it still remains as beautiful and unspoilt as ever. Villa Kalithea was one of the best we have stayed in. We will be back!
John & Mary Millward – September 2019
Yet again Simpson Travel delivered everything it said it would. The Corfu airport reps and those on Paxos we encountered were absolutely brilliant. We aim to return – obviously with Simpson Travel!
AJ – August 2019
A lovely week in Paxos in this beautiful peaceful villa and many an hour spent sitting poolside looking out to sea. We enjoyed the small bars on the water’s edge at the far end of Loggos. Overall a very relaxing week and everything made so easy and straightforward by Simpson Travel.
Alex, Rob & Grace – July 2019
This was our sixth holiday with Simpson Travel and our next one is already booked. We would find it very difficult to go on holiday with any other company as we have been spoilt and we are now hooked!
Ann – June 2019
Although it is only our second visit to Kalithea, it is about our 12th visit to Paxos over the last 20 years. The villa is perfectly situated and well appointed. The island still holds the same charm as it did on our first visit. It’s interesting to watch Magazia turning into a lively centre with a wonderful bakery and some promising new tavernas. Many thanks to Leona and the owners of the villa for all their help and warm welcome.
Hugh & Sandy – June 2019
Kalithea in Paxos was as described by Simpson Travel – being very quiet and private, yet within walking distance to a good taverna, giving good local food. A bakery and supermarket are nearby. The flight and boat transfer were timed to perfection with little waiting times, the hire car in Paxos was waiting for our arrival, all planned with the usual Simpson expertise. The Rou Estate for our second week was again all planned well, the road to it was meandering and in parts rough but the destination was superb, being high up and looking across to Albania, watching cruise ships glide across the sea. The accommodation wanted for nothing and we enjoyed our peaceful stay. Thanks very much.
Chris & Richy Mason – September 2018
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Kalithea which is perfectly located to reach all parts of the island. The beautiful outlook, peace and quiet and general calmness sitting looking out at the mesmerising view. We managed to tear ourselves away to visit several beaches and we really enjoyed Levrechio beach and taverna. Thank you, Simpson Travel. It was also nice to meet the villa owners who were very helpful. A great holiday with lovely weather.
Simpson Travellers – September 2018
Villa Kalithea is a gem of a villa: beautifully located atop the central spine of the island and conveniently situated close to Gaios and Loggos. Its advantages include excellent privacy, wonderful views, all day sunshine, a good house layout and very nice pool and sitting out/sunbathing areas. As one writer of a review said in the guest book, this is the best villa on the island and we would not disagree with that.
Simon van der Byl – June 2018
Kalithea has been one of the nicest villas we have stayed in. Well equipped, beautiful setting, great pool and wonderful to have ice and water. Steph has been amazing, so helpful, nothing has been too much trouble, she's very informative and enthusiastic.
The Gateley Family – July 2017
This was our second visit to Paxos, the first nine years ago. Our expectations were not disappointed. We love the Greek islands anyway, lovely people, scenery, atmosphere. The food has improved over the years and there are now some exceptional dining places. Gaios and Lakka are much busier with 'boaty' people and day trippers from Corfu (can't blame them). There are some excellent bars in Loggos too and the Greek music on Thursday nights is good fun. Although we could have eaten/cooked in the villa in the evenings, there were only two of and more fun to eat out in different places. The villa was very well equipped and maintained and the Simpson Travel team were extremely helpful and always friendly and available. It was a lovely week, thank you.
Dr Hartley – July 2017
This is our third holiday with Simpson Travel and as always, a wonderful experience with standards of service and villas second to none. We always thoroughly enjoy ourselves, knowing that all the details are taken care of and if we need any help it is always there.
Dr Lucas – July 2017
Our second visit to Paxos, the first being nine years ago. The villa is excellent and very well appointed and well looked after – thank you Simpson Travel. Steph, our resort representative, has been brilliant and helpful, not that we've had any emergencies. Thank you Simpson, it's been great!
John & Carol – June 2017
Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
* For further clarification on Facilities and Amenities, please view the 'Details' tab for each property or speak to one of our experienced sales consultants.
There are few better ways of relaxing than on a luxury holiday in Paxos, where days fill up beautifully with sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and dining in style, the sea just metres from your table. Amble through ancient olive groves and you’ll catch glimpses of startlingly turquoise bays, the dramatic west-coast cliffs or the Epiros Mountains. In spring, there’s also a haze of purple honesty, wild irises and lilies and a sky that’s alive with birdlife, from hawks to skylarks.
