From its elevated location just above Kalkan, the outstanding Villa Mars combines magnificent sea views with indulgently spacious accommodation, all within walking distance of the exclusive beach clubs, superb restaurants and boutique shops of Kalkan. The villa is ideal for families and groups of friends, with generous social spaces and quiet corners for reading, snoozing or just marvelling at the spectacular views. The bright lights of Kalkan are conveniently close, but with so much private space at your disposal you might be more tempted to simply fire up the barbecue and crack open something deliciously chilled as the sun slips below the horizon. With two private pools there’s little incentive to leave Villa Mars during the daytime either, however Kalkan centre can be reached in ten minutes on foot, ideal for older children and teenagers keen for a little independence. Kalkan’s charming streets are a delight to explore whatever age you are, though the steep terrain means the return to the villa takes rather longer, especially on a full stomach! The inclines can feel a little intimidating even in a hire car, so if you’d prefer private airport transfers as an alternative, we’d be happy to arrange this. For local journeys during your stay, Kalkan taxis are plentiful and relatively inexpensive.

A stunning villa, perfect for two families, with several different seating areas inside and out. The best view from a bathroom we’ve had! Excellent service from Simpsons from start to finish, including from our concierge Kay.
For starters – the view! Fantastic spot – walk down – taxi back. Get Korsan to cater, but don’t order too much! Great holiday venue!
Our family holiday with grown up children at Villa Mars was exceptional in every way. Loads of space inside and out, well equipped, every comfort, and views to die for. Beautiful looking out to sea in the daylight, nighttime brings the gorgeous twinkly lights of Kalkan. Kay (local concierge) was so friendly and helpful and we felt that nothing was too much trouble, it was very reassuring. We had quite a lot of complicated transfer arrangements with people coming and going at different times and all were arranged easily and totally reliable. The local Korsan team were great too - the welcome meze and hamper were very generous. Little touches that make all the difference - like the pool man freshening the outside space every morning and bringing bread! We really enjoyed the complimentary hamam, boat trip, and beach club entry which we thought again, very generous. It’s quite a climb home up to the villa but perfectly doable for the fit and able and it’s clearly stated in the description (and you can’t get the views without height!!). We loved being within walking distance of the town and harbour - a huge bonus. We definitely hope to return sometime.
On arrival the villa exceeded our expectations. Our rep, Kay, left us a fabulous welcome pack, and I cannot speak highly enough about the way she looked after us while we truly enjoyed our amazing holiday. The family loved it, something for everyone. The restaurants were mostly good, with a big party it’s difficult to please everyone. It’s our first visit to this stunning and breathtaking scenic country and hopefully we will be back some time. 10 out of 10 for Kay!
This was our first family holiday in Turkey and we were not disappointed. The Villa was stunning.Our representative Kay was extremely supportive, can’t praise her enough and our Grandchildren absolutely loved it.
First trip to Kalkan and completely won over! Can’t fault the villa and never before had such a wonderful view. Turkish Hammam is quite an experience! Boat trip was definitely our favourite day. We tried a different restaurant every night and enjoyed all of them. Loved wandering through the market for all the ‘cheap as chips’ stuff. Patara beach is a good day out – though very hot wandering round the ruins – not much shade. All in all a fabulous holiday.
Lovely villa, brilliant rep (Kay). Nothing too much trouble. The local archaeology is brilliant. Patara and Letoon worth a visit if you have a car.
It's the extras that can really make a holiday! The meze welcome pack was so appreciated after a long day of travelling as was the daily bread delivery. The boat trip day out was a fantastic day we were made to feel so welcome - it was the highlight of the holiday.

Our third stay at Villa Mars and it was just as wonderful. The villa is quiet, not overlooked and a short ( but steep) walk down into Kalkan. We just loved lounging by both pools and also in the new covered seating area. We enjoyed visiting our old haunts. Kitty, the Simpson rep, was as helpful as ever, always on hand to help with any minor issues. We had our weekly shop delivered by Figo supermarket which was pre-ordered before our arrival which was a real bonus! Another wonderful holiday arranged by Simpson Travel. Thank you!
We had a lovely week at Villa Mars and the service from Kitty was excellent. We had a problem with the water which was sorted very quickly and she responded very efficiently to any queries. The villa was spacious and well kitted out. The day on the gulet was lovely and the hamam was great. Overall an excellent week and we were lucky to get away.
What an amazing stay we had at Villa Mars. Although there are a few signs of the villa's age, on the whole it is a remarkable place to stay. Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and well equipped with everything you would need to make your holiday go smoothly. The service received from the ‘hosts’ with their daily bread delivery, pool cleaning and bin emptying was a pleasant welcome surprise. I would also like to say a big thank you to Kitty in the resort for her prompt response to any of our questions. And also thanks to the team in the UK – in the very uncertain terms leading up to our holiday we were kept informed at all times, and given the chance to be flexible if we needed to be. This was our first holiday with Simpson Travel, but certainly will not be the last.
Another two amazing weeks in our villa in Kalkan. We love this place and have booked again for next year. Great weather, fantastic villa and such a variety of food. We loved sitting at Monkey every night for pre-drinks and talking to the BSG boys. We can’t fault Kalkan – it is our little gem and love spending our holidays here.
We have had a lovely week in this super villa. The Regency boat trip was a great day as well as visits to Patara and Kaş. All the restaurants are very good and the standard of food has been very good. We have generally walked down to the town and had a taxi back. Kitty and the Korsan team have been very helpful and we look forward to returning.

Wonderful villa with so many lovely views. Indigo Beach Club is a great way to spend the day and a nice lunch spot. The complimentary haman at the Regency is well worth a visit. The complimentary boat trip is excellent, our favourite day and delicious food.
Enjoy yourselves, the villa is ideal. Go to Patara for an easy day out, a 20-minute drive, ancient ruins, and beautiful beach. Do a boat trip for the whole day with some snorkelling. You can’t go wrong with any restaurant in Kalkan.
