Every Simpson Exclusive villa falls into the ‘wow’ category for one reason or another, but now and again we come across a property to get extra excited about, and Villa Canim is just such a place.
Let’s begin with the location. Villa Canim lies in prestigious Komurluk, the most desirable and conveniently-located part of Kalkan, with steps and a pathway leading directly to the beach, the harbour, the shops and an enticing choice of restaurants in just five to ten minutes. Sitting just above the Palm Beach club, the villa is well known locally for its stunning, completely unobstructed views over the harbour to Snake and Mouse islands: the classic Kalkan panorama and a breathtaking backdrop for indulgent afternoons by the infinity pool and warm starry nights on the terrace.
The second stand-out feature of Villa Canim is the décor. Recently refurbished, the villa takes a tasteful, less-is-more approach, with muted colours, natural materials and hints of this coastline’s rich archaeological history creating unique and refreshingly understated spaces to relax in. The design is as practical as it is beautiful, made up of a three-storey main house and an attached, self-contained annexe, ideal if some of your party would like a little extra space and privacy. With multiple terraces there’s plenty of room for everyone to find a quiet corner, or get together as a group to share the experience of this blissful spot over drinks and dinner.

As a family this was our seventh visit to Kalkan and Villa Canim has to be one of our favourite villas. The pool was such a great size and the uninterrupted view of the bay and harbour was absolutely stunning. What we liked was that from this villa you can walk into Kalkan, which we did many times. There was a very small area that was a little bit uneven and on a slope, but once you passed this it was a flat pathway, which was fine. The villa was well-equipped and had 6 bedrooms which enabled us to move around, as not everyone wanted air-con on at night! We would definitely return to this villa!

Here to celebrate a 50th – six couples to have fun and chill. Villa Canim was perfect. Great location to walk into town, sea swims at the Palm Beach Club, boat trip, fabulous catering and party by Korsan. Zeze was gracious and super helpful and Simpson team met all our requirements. Visited the Saklikent Gorge for a never-to-forget adventure, some had a Turkish shave at Sweeny Todds and the group hammam was a must do on Day One. Sunsets over the pool a visual post card. Fabulous week spent in this villa with everything you could wish for. The hammam massage was not to be missed. The boat trip was lovely and a day at Zest Beach Club was wonderful with fabulous food. The villa is perfectly positioned to walk into town but still peaceful and great to be able to walk to Palm Beach Club too! Zeze was a complete star and wonderfully helpful – no problem too small. We have had the most fantastic holiday staying in this wonderful villa. We are a three generational family and there was plenty of space for all. The trip on the Poseidon was amazing – it was a beautiful boat and the staff so friendly and kind to the children. The hammam was very different to anything we’ve ever experienced but was well worth doing. We visited Patara and went to the beach and also the ruins. We all went up to the mountains to experience a full Turkish breakfast. Some of our group went to Kaş, which they said was very different to Kalkan. Zeze was very kind and helpful and sorted things out for us on occasions. A super holiday.

This was our 3rd holiday in Kalkan and our 2nd at Villa Canim. We can only say, everything was perfect. Simpson's do a superb job and we are so grateful for all their efforts.
We booked a villa to accommodate a party of 12 family members including 6 adults and six children the youngest being 11 months. This was a very special family holiday for several reasons and one that we wanted to be as perfect as it could be. So we had very high hopes and expectations which did not disappoint. From the very first contact with Simpson travel, I had lots of questions prior to booking and the team answered honestly and gave advice when needed. I contacted them on many occasions to fine tune the details, and every question, was dealt with patiently and talking me through options. We had in villa dining on two occasions, our concierge arranged a birthday cake, balloons etc and the welcome pack was plentiful with all the requirements of feeding a large family! Truly so much more than we expected. The private transfer was amazing, excellent vehicle with chilled water for everyone, baby seats and a courteous driver who was equally excited for our family who were visiting Kalkan for the first time. We are new to Simpson Travel, but we will certainly be using them again. And as an added service, the Simpson travel app was amazing!, not only did it give you a daily countdown in the dark winter days, but was very informative and gave updates on flight status, maps and lists of places close by but also all contact details for our stay. All in all, exceeded our very high expectations. Bucket list well and truly ticked!

We usually travel independently. On this occasion we chose Simpson Travel as we were a large party and travelling with family. We were very impressed with all aspects of our trip. The pre-departure team and communication were excellent. Resort staff were most professional, knowledgeable and always available. The quality of the accommodation was excellent. Simpson Travel exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to use them again.
The villa is perfect and easy to walk to Kalkan. The boat trip and Hamam at the Kalkan Regency were both really good – the boat is beautiful. Our rep, Kitty, was excellent. Simpson Travel just gets better and better.
