We have a number of extraordinary properties within our luxury portfolio but perhaps none as surprising as Villa Sade, our state-of-the-art Simpson Exclusive in a beautiful rural setting close to Kalkan. Jaw-dropping, breath-taking, original; we could quickly run out of superlatives to describe this high-end property which boasts a 22-metre infinity pool, complete with jacuzzi area and sun-warmed loungers suspended tantalisingly above the water. Only in Turkey would you find a three-bedroom villa with such fine features and the added bonus of a private gym, sauna and hamam, all perfectly positioned near a charming traditional village.
Islamlar is home to the villa owner Erhan, who spent many of his formative years down in Kalkan learning the art of flawless hospitality. The results speak for themselves and now he not only owns the best villa in the area, but also one of the finest restaurants in Kalkan, Sade, in the heart of the Old Town. Without doubt he has captured the best of both worlds in this exceptional single-storey house; peace, privacy and mesmerising views in an idyllic countryside setting, just a short drive from the hustle, bustle and sophistication of life down by the water.
Spacious, contemporary interiors are the epitome of relaxed elegance, sumptuously furnished and flowing effortlessly out onto the expansive terrace and pool area. You couldn’t wish for a more splendid spot to recline or dine as the mood dictates and when you’re after a little local fare, one of the best restaurants in the area is just a short stroll away.
For those who like to step out by day, Villa Sade is close to the Lycian trail and some truly spectacular walks but if you’d rather stay put (and why wouldn’t you) a couple of lengths of the pool or a little turn in the gym will go some way to help you hang onto your waistline in the face of great temptation. Because just a ten-minute drive away, Kalkan offers some of the finest dining in our collection and as the early evening call to prayer echoes down the valley, the lure of the meze, fresh seafood and köfte (Turkish meatballs) down in this vibrant cosmopolitan resort is almost irresistible.

A delightful week of tranquillity and fun – a great combination. Our favourite restaurant in Kalkan was Korsan Fish Terrace, but the very best time was barbecuing at the villa and relaxing. Zeze was excellent – friendly and attentive and a credit to Simpson.
We have had the most fabulous week and just wish we had booked two! The villa is perfect in every way, the people so friendly and the food lovely. It was great to have Zeze around to help with any practicalities. She was so helpful and kind. We very much hope to come back, both to Turkey and to Villa Sade.
This holiday at Villa Sade, booked through Simpson, was our best. It was totally easy and relaxing. We definitely hope to return in the future. The accommodation was amazing, the local area and people lovely and the Simpson concierge/rep really helpful and friendly.
Villa Sade is an exquisite, tranquil place to locate yourself in Turkey. Beautifully designed with views across the valley and down to the sea, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it’s extensive facilities and recuperative vibe.
We had an 11-day stay and had a wonderful time! There were nine of us and we tried out many of the local Turkish breakfasts. We also highly recommend getting the private chef and having the barbecue – we had a range of sea bream, sea bass, lamb chops, two salads, four breads and was tastier than many of the fish meals we had down in Kalkan. Activity wise, we did a kayaking tour round the Kekova sunken city through Simpson Travel and it was a day out loved by all! We all had a fantastic holiday, beautiful villa and lots of memories. Off home feeling very content and relaxed.
A simply fabulous holiday, the quality and ambiance of the villa were absolutely superb, and we loved the peace, views and local restaurants. Our concierge Zeze was the best we’ve ever had, so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Arif the caretaker was also excellent and very quick to fix a couple of minor issues we had. Overall it was an ideal holiday for our family group, well done Simpsons!

Amazing villa in a tranquil location with the best ever villa pool. Thank you Erhan and Simpsons. Thanks also to Zeze who has been very helpful during our stay, responsive, cheerful and knowledgeable. It will be very hard to leave this place, helped only by the fact that we know we'll be back.
We came exhausted and left refreshed, we spent many happy hours in the pool, playing table tennis and relaxing. We found no need to go into Kalkan to shop - Andifli, just down the hill, provided everything except for the large water bottles for the cooler, which can be found on the main road down to the harbour. Indigo Beach club also gets our vote, everything you need for a relaxing day and the food and service were excellent (try the spicy walnut dip!). We didn't want to leave this special place.
How can you cease to be staggered, walking through the door and being confronted with such a scene?: the mountains, the views, the breeze, not to mention the infinity pool! The building is superb. We have likened it to Corsica, Brazil, California, such that it is a 'universally' brilliant place. Huge thanks, much love and congratulations, what a place!
We loved Villa Sade, the luxury, the space the views and the quality of everything. The views and the pool are second to none, simply the best villa that we have ever stayed in. The layout was perfect for our family holiday with 2 adults and 2 teenagers, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms meant very few arguments.
What an amazing place! So sad to leave but know we will return. Kalkan has a good, safe vibe. We have LOVED it. First time in Turkey and the hospitality is second to none.

A truly beautiful villa, immaculately clean beautifully designed, loved the contemporary and arty feel, the pool is just wow! The view is stunning, it felt like we had really escaped from it all but only a 5 min car ride into to the wonderful Kalkan town. Loved being in Islamlar where the Villa is, a very special place, truly wonderful people. Spoilt for choice with things to do if can drag yourself away from Villa Sade, beautiful beach clubs, fabulous Kalkan town, historical sites, wonderful food! I will be coming back this place is a gem.

A pretty mountain village just above Kalkan Bay, Islamlar is a place of bucolic tranquillity and rustic architecture set against the dramatic backdrop of the Taurus Mountains. In the heart of Islamlar you will still find a truly traditional way of life, unchanged throughout the centuries: an old tea house, a bakery where flour is still ground by millstones and shepherds herding their sheep among the olive trees.
Nearby is Islamlar’s even sleepier neighbour, Üzümlü. This traditional village is wonderfully unspoilt – a place where you can fully immerse yourself in the every-day comings and goings of rural Turkey.
But should you wish to experience a more cosmopolitan expression of Turkish hospitality, Kalkan with its beach clubs, vibrant waterfront bars and rooftop restaurants, is just a short drive away, giving you the best of all worlds.
