- Stunning waterfront villa
- Metres from the sea
- Sunset views
- Gentle stroll to village restaurants
To find a two-bedroom villa two metres from the sea with its own private swimming pool and located in a particularly charming Turkish fishing village, is exceptional.
We are therefore delighted to offer our guests the wonderfully situated Villa Sevdam in the sleepy, relaxed village of Söğüt. From Villa Sevdam guests can watch the sun set at dusk from the terrace while looking out over the sea towards the Greek island of Symi, or contemplate life from the private pool just metres from the sea: the views here are breathtaking but perhaps especially so from the master bedroom terrace.
It is just a short stroll to the local shop and waterside village restaurants, which offer a range of good food whilst the local coffee house introduces you to Turkey’s traditions and hospitality. The joy of stepping out of your villa straight onto the waterfront with its translucent blue sea might leave you reluctant to venture further. However, the rugged beauty and charms of the Bozburun Peninsula and Söğüt await exploration where you can discover bays, mountain villages and a traditional Turkish lifestyle unchanged by western influences.

We would definitely travel with Simpson Travel again - the description of the villa was very accurate, the representative was very helpful in all our queries & requests & especially in the light of the collapse of Monarch Airlines, we were kept informed & our return flight went at the same time as we would have done on Monarch. Many thanks
Mrs Brownsdon – October 2017
Villa Sevdam is a delight. We particularly liked the privacy of the large roof terrace, from where we watched Sogut's stunning sunsets, whilst drinking Turkish wine.
Ms Wheeler – May 2017
Our holiday with Simpson was one of the best we have had. All the travel arrangements went smoothly, the BA flight was much better than the usual charters, no queues for car hire and the villa was excellent in a lovely location by the beach. Absolute bliss.
Mrs Crosbie – July 2015
Our first time to this part of Turkey and we definitely want to return. The villa and its location are perfect – so relaxing. Light dancing off the water, reflections and beautiful sunsets. Watching the local fishermen coming and going and enjoying their catch each evening. Food, wine, local people, especially Meltem and Ayten are all fabulous.
Mrs Tilstone – September 2014
We have had a wonderful week in Sogut. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. Thank you especially to Meltem and Ayten for helping make our stay so special. A perfect holiday, thank you to Turkish hospitality.
Mr Shires – September 2014
We had a fantastic holiday, thank you to all those at Simpson Travel. Our second week to the Bozburun Peninsula exceeded our expectations. What a beautiful part of Turkey. Villa Sevdam was perfectly situated and we could well have stayed put in Sogut for the week. But thanks to Aydem she shared some gems with us and we were able to discover some of the area. Aydem not only was the perfect rep but she was a true representation of everyone who we met in the area, charming, friendly, kind, calm and extremely welcoming. She even went the extra mile and accompanied us to the Doctors. Meltem, the house cleaner, was also a treasure, nothing was ever too much trouble and always smiling. She brought us homemade gozleme and fresh flowers from her garden. The location is perfect, the local restaurants fantastic, even the mini market owner became a friend. Villa Sevdam offers lots of sunny and shady reading spots and was perfect for the 4 of us. Thank you again, it was idyllic I just wish we could do it all over again.
Brooke-Taylor – August 2014
Had a perfect week. This is the true magic of Turkey.
Mr Ryder Richardson – July 2014
What a fantastic place, as everyone else has said, the villa is pretty perfect. Location is just brilliant. We have swam everyday, often 3 to 4 times. We will miss just getting up and jumping into the sea more than anything.
Mr McLellan – June 2014
We love the villa, the garden, the variety of outdoor seating areas and the pool. It is a beautiful, unspoiled part of the country and very quiet at this time of year. Ayten the Simpson rep was very helpful and provided us with an excellent starter pack.
Mrs Spiegelhalter – June 2014
We chose this place to celebrate both our birthdays this year and have had an amazing holiday. The villa is superb and the views are stunning! Our stay here has been very relaxing and we very much hope to return to this beautiful place one day!
Mrs Curtis – May 2014
Excellent holiday in a beautiful location.
Mr Miller – October 2013
If you are considering Sogut and are worried that you may not like, don't! You are just about to book the holiday of a lifetime. This place really is Heaven on Earth. As our 13 year old daughter put it "it is ridiculously beautiful"
Ms Bush – August 2013
Very good holiday. Plan to book same villa next year
Mr Bowman – July 2013
Sogut – food, relaxation, sunsets and full moon. Can't imagine a better spot to ponder the bigger issues of life..........no conclusion reached - return visit required to consider further?
Ms Mcdiarmid – May 2013
Our choice of Turkey properties is diverse, ranging from simple charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal.
To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
* For further clarification on Facilities and Amenities, please view the 'Details' tab for each property or speak to one of our experienced sales consultants.
Reaching out from a forested coastline towards the nearby Aegean islands of Symi, Tilos and Rhodes, the Bozburun Peninsula is one of the most peaceful and picturesque corners of southwest Turkey.
Azure bays and sheltered coves, woodland, olive groves and mountains set the scene for a holiday fragranced with fields of lavender and wild thyme. Centred around the seaside town of Bozburun itself, famous for boat building, this discretely luxurious destination is a protected conservation area, made for leisurely boat trips, sea-view restaurants and walks along the cliff tops.
