Six of us returned to Bademli Bahce a year after our first visit. Again we loved it! It is very quiet and extremely peaceful. Richard and Gulsah are the perfect hosts. Very friendly and welcoming but never intrusive. Breakfasts are amazing. Omelettes are the tastiest I have ever had. And what variety of cheeses vegetables and fruit! And then when it is not expected the menu board for lunch goes up. Courgette roulade, stuffed peppers, plum galette, tiramisu and more. There are many foods and drinks I cannot consume this year due to intolerance reactions. They were really careful and helpful. All in all a wonderful place. Feel happy to recommend unreservedly.

Badhemli Bahce (Almond Garden) is wonderful place to be and, in our view, the best experience of the five Simpson holidays we have taken over the years. Richard and his partner (sorry I cannot spell her name) are perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Their hotel is small and well designed together with an outstanding westerly view over the Greek island of Symi. A ten minute walk ends in a choice of restaurants on the shingle beach. Sögüt, pronounced 'Sirjurt', is largely undeveloped. Go to the same restaurant twice and you will be treated as a valued friend, and we find Turkish cuisine more varied than the Greek equivalent. The peninsula itself is dramatic with many places to visit.

The traditional Turkish breakfast was a delight and inspire a healthier approach to kick start your day. We also enjoyed a private Pilates session in the garden overlooking the beautiful bay of Sogut to add just that little more relaxation. Don't miss out on a cocktail at sunset on the terrace as you have probably the best view in town. A week was just not long enough!
