A gorgeous week – Villa Bella is a lovely spot and there’s nothing more relaxing than enjoying breakfast with those beach views! We also experimented with a drive to the beaches on the West Coast – Porto Katsiki and Egremni – they were absolutely breathtaking! Worth bringing the umbrella for shade and be prepared for quite the walk/steps at Egremni beach – but all worth it! Thank you Hazel for your tips and coffee pods!! Really appreciate it – you helped make the week lovely and relaxing. We’ll miss the Greek food and the sunshine!

The villa was in an excellent location for us. We had asked for somewhere peaceful but in reach of a few places to eat and that is exactly what we got. The villa has its own gate to the beach & a short walk took us to Nydri with its harbour, shops and tavernas. At the top of the driveway to the villa is a coffee shop & bakery and many mornings were spent with a latte and croissant by the pool. There are lots of places to eat & drink in Nydri, catering for all budgets. There ones we tried were excellent. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of peace and quiet but with option to have access to restaurants and bars if you want them, this is a great place to stay.

Customer Feedback Beautiful villa in a wonderful beachside location. Everything on the beach: local Taverna for lunch, boat hire right outside the villa (day hire) , a bakery at the top of the road. Nydri is within walking distancing and Lefkada was E25 in a taxi. The master bedroom is beautiful- the second bedroom is much smaller and more functional. We enjoyed a relaxing week here relaxing by the pool and on the beach. The views of the bay, mountains and watching the yachts was wonderful!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Bella despite the changeable weather. The villa is in a perfect location and is clean and well-maintained with everything you need and more. There are well-stocked supermarkets nearby along with several excellent restaurants to choose from. A short walk takes you to the bright lights of Nydri town. The combination of the villa's beautiful garden and pool combined with the small beach with shady trees and beautiful sea just outside the villa meant that we never strayed far. A totally relaxing and lazy holiday, thank you!

We were less keen on the bustle of Nidri, and preferred the picturesque villages in the mountains. We loved quaint Sivota for local tavernas for great brunches and dinners. We really enjoyed our stay at Acqua di Mare Villa Bella. We particularly liked the garden with the olive tree for shade and the mulberry tree just on the beach. Swimming just a few steps from the garden in the sea with the view to the mountains was a real treat & very relaxing. We had a brilliant day out hiring a boat from Dimitrios at the jetty right next to the Villa. We explored the island as far as the Cape on a day that started rainy but delivered spectacular views & scenery with glorious sunshine later. And still got back in time for a swim! We would love to return.

After a fantastic week at Acqua di Mare, the very warm welcome we received from Alexandra and Eva immediately made us feel at home for our second week of bliss on the island! Imagine our surprise to find that no only were we the first Simpson guests of the year, but the only Simpson guests! Having the terrace and pool to ourselves can only be described as ‘spoiled’ and were also spoiled with wonderful breakfasts and much care from Alexandra and Eva. Our highlights: day trip to Metsovo, Dedoni ruins, Lake Ioannina in the national park.

From the time we left the UK until the time we landed at Preveza it was stress- free. Greeted promptly by Simpson staff at the airport, the Simpson rep contacted us on arrival at the villa, home from home facilities at the villa – every detail thought off and spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent location within a 10-minute walk you will find everything that you need from supermarkets to an endless array of restaurants. If you found it in your heart to find fault with this holiday package it would be impossible. Absolutely fantastic, keep up the great work.

The villa we stayed in was good but the garden, pool and direct access to the beach and sea beyond was AMAZING! The pool was very nice, with the attached Jacuzzi acting as a fabulous smaller pool for our 2-year-old giving her confidence to enjoy the water, so much so that she was swimming around the main pool by the end of the holiday! Having the boat hire at the foot of the garden was very convenient for us – we loved hiring our own boat and being able to watch all the activity on the sea from the comfort of our garden or pool area.
