Plenty of travel writers claim Lefkada as the best of the Ionian islands for beaches, and while we’re far too diplomatic to make that call, there’s no doubt that the west coast in particular does offer some of the longest and loveliest stretches of sand and fine shingle on the entire archipelago. Perched on a hilltop above Agios Nikitas, Villa Valia is perfectly placed for exploring this celebrated coastline, and if you'd like to enjoy a cocktail by the sea or some delicious Lefkada wine with dinner, you can leave the car at home and enjoy the stroll down to the village.
Valia is one of a pair of two-bedroom villas, each fully detached and independent of the other but both sharing similarly beautiful sea and mountain views. What a wonderful holiday and comfy villa. We have explored many places and Yiannis was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be using Simpson again and will miss lovely Lefkada.
Villa Valia has a wonderful position with sea views from both the front and rear, and lovely Mountain View’s from the back. Walking to Milos Beach isn’t easy, but access via the village and boats is. The villa is spacious and well equipped and the air con works well. Only issue for some people may be that the access road is steep and unmade - needs care!
This was a great trip couldn’t fault it. Everyone we dealt with was so helpful, friendly and professional especially Yiannis our our rep. Will definitely use Simpson Travel again.
