Cavallone is a simply wonderful retreat, quiet and peaceful with the most stunning views. We were planning on a walking holiday but just couldn't tear ourselves away from the pool and the nearby secluded beaches. We always thought that others couldn't do it as well as we could ourselves, but Simpson Travel certainly can and do. We will be back again next year
Ms Smith – May 2018
Cavallone is a comfortable house in a lovely location; peaceful, accessible, secluded and with a fabulous view. Cavallone is the perfect place to relax but also is a good base for exploring the region. Thank you, Simpson Travel.
Mrs Carrington – October 2017
We had a wonderfully relaxing week at Cavallone. This was our fifth visit to Corsica, all with Simpson Travel. We have been using Simpson for our family holidays for many years now and they never disappoint. Cavallone has been a perfect place for us to unwind. It is so peaceful and the view is stunning! We have seen some local wildlife! A big thank you to our rep, Zena, for all her help and advice. Nothing was too much trouble.
Arthur & Sian – July 2017
We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed within 10 minutes. Simpson Travel were very helpful from the start. The perfect host during our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. Corsica is truly magical!
Deborah & Mark – June 2017
We loved our late summer week at Cavallone. The perfect spot to relax, swim, drink and appreciate the view and from which to make the odd excursion. The little beach at Figari, almost directly across the main road from the villa, is ideal for a quick dip in the sea. Warm and clear water! Finally, thanks to the wonderful Zena who couldn’t have been more welcoming, gracious and helpful!
Leslie & Richard – June 2017
The villa is very lovely as is its setting – we had a nice relaxing week. Corsica is a beautiful island and we went to the usual places. This is our first holiday using Simpson Travel, but not the last. Everyone has been extremely helpful.
Adam & Tracey – May 2017
As a last minute booking it could not have been better, from the very informed and helpful Hamish to the warm welcome at Figari airport by Stephen and the team. Cavallone was everything that we expected and more as was the beautiful island of Corsica. Thank you, Simpson Travel – we will recommend you to all.
Mrs Hall – May 2016
Fabulous, if you like peace and quiet and a get away holiday with no stress, hardly any traffic, unspoiled – this is the place for you. Cavallone is wonderful, the views are amazing and you are completely on your own with your own pool and own space.
Mrs Thompson – June 2015
We stayed at Cavallone, it was beautiful and quiet. The property was beautiful with lots of mod cons, the bed fantastically comfortable. We were a short drive from great beaches and places to visit. It was wonderful to get up and and have a swim in the pool first thing…so great in fact that we had to make a conscious effort to drag ourselves away from the property to visit elsewhere. All in all a fantastic holiday in a beautiful property…couldn't find any faults…wish we could have stayed longer than two weeks!
Miss Tyndall – May 2015
Beyond expectations – highly professional, courteous, efficient: will use again!
Prof Gordon – September 2014
A great week spent doing very little, apart from lying by the pool and the odd trip to the shop. The rural location has been excellent for wildlife: red kite and bee eaters during the day; toad, hedgehog, hare and fox by night. Fantastic.
Mr Beare – September 2013
Charming villa in an amazing setting. We loved the privacy and the feeling of the being in the countryside surrounded by the sounds, smells and wildlife of the maquis. Spent a relaxing week enjoying the pool and the warm breeze, not straying too far afield. We found the local beaches and coastline very beautiful, natural and unspoilt – good to see that much of it is protected. Lovely!
The Abbit family – August 2013
What a beautiful place! We found this last minute – and it was great. Perfect! The view, the sunsets, the pool, the olive tree (better than a parasol – great to sit underneath in the sunchairs or play a game with the children), the breeze and the smell – especially in the morning. And most of all after a night with a thunderstorm – it smelled heavenly! Enjoy this lovely place.
Mr De Rooij – August 2013
Our choice of Corsican properties is as diverse as the island itself, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
* For further clarification on Facilities and Amenities, please view the 'Details' tab for each property or speak to one of our experienced sales consultants.
Just across the water from Sardinia, history takes a cosmopolitan turn in the winding streets, imposing citadels and elegant marinas of Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio. A luxury holiday here comes with no shortage of style, and plenty of restaurants, cafés, boutiques and museums. Not far away, you'll also find the family-friendly beaches of Pinarello and pine-shaded Palombaggia, as well as the white sands of Santa Giulia and chic St Cyprien.
