Tas Bahce was a beautiful, peaceful and perfectly located villa. We loved the characterful design and although it felt secluded it was only a short walk to the beach club and town. The daily bread delivery was very much appreciated as was the support of Kitty and Mesut - Thank you!

We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Kalkan with our family. The holiday way just perfect. Flights and transfers all seamlessly worked and the villa was amazing. We are a family of 5 with teenagers and wanted a villa that gave them space to be independant the Villa we stayed in offered just this with a separate annex for them but a beautiful pool to get together round. The villa as super private with amazing views and had lots of character. It was above Kalkan but the walk to town was 10 mins. Kalkan is a lovely place beautiful, safe and very fun. Simpsons were attentive with a catch up when we first arrived with Kitty so we could ask questions and we were offered a free boat trip and Hamman massage which we throughly enjoyed. Overall throughly reccommend!

We stayed at Korsan Tas Bahce, Kalkan, Turkey for the latter 2 weeks of June 2025. It was an absolutely idyllic setting looking over the bay at Kalkan. The villa itself was beautiful and equipped with everything you need for the most comfortable stay, including really effective air conditioning which was essential in temperatures around 40 C! The local Simpson concierge, Kitty, went above and beyond with great advice and help whenever needed - for example providing an excellent set of driving routes so that we could explore remote villages in the mountains and amazing Lycian archaeological sites. Mesut, the local Korsan manager was also massively helpful, friendly and came for coffee twice and to bid us goodbye on our last day at the Kalkan regency hotel.

We had a wonderful week in the villa. It is well placed, close to restaurants and shops. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the pool is a delight. The only downside is it's a 10-minute mainly uphill walk to get back from Kalkan, but the taxis are cheap! We've used Simpson for many years and found the service and villas exceptional.

We are going to truly miss this beautiful villa! The sacred olive tree in the pool and the pine and olives growing through the veranda add such a rustic yet magical feel to the place. Bora has been excellent at arranging breakfasts at the villa and a barbecue night too. The meze on arrival was delicious. Last year I asked if he would put a rail and steps into the swimming pool. We arrived to find that this has been done and what a difference it made to getting in and out of the pool. Thank you. We have eaten so well in Kalkan and stuffed ourselves being true ‘foodies’. Thank you as always, Korsan, for making our stay such fun.

We have stayed at Tas Bahce four times now. We love the villa, it is in a great location, private but within easy walking distance of the old town. The outdoor space and pool are beautiful with lots of sunny spots but nice shaded areas too. Internally it is very clean with a well equipped kitchen, lovely shower rooms and comfortable beds with good quality bed linen.

This was our third villa holiday with Simpson Travel and they seem to get better each time. We were met at the airport and taken a short walk to our almost new hire car, a quick signature and we were on our way. The villa was in a fantastic location overlooking the bay of Kalkan and the swimming pool (constantly used due to the fabulous weather) was amazing – the best we have ever had in many years of villa holidays. The outdoor seating areas were vast and very well equipped with good quality furniture. The villa itself is extremely well presented with everything you could possibly need and all to a high standard – we have never been so satisfied with such a full complement of supplies. The town/harbour was just a 15 minute walk down a well-lit walkway and was a great place to be at night with all the boats lit up and overlooked by a huge selection of high quality restaurants. The shopping area, set up overlooking the harbour, has an excellent range of interesting and varied products to a much higher standard than many holiday resorts. Whist we were not able to meet her due to the Covid-19 situation, our resort contact, Kitty, was always available to rapidly respond to any queries and kept us regularly updated on any relevant developments. Looking forward to our next Simpson holiday.

Unfortunately we were caught up in the Thomas Cook collapse, and our flights through Simpson Travel were with them, but they were extremely quick in offering us support in getting alternative flights, which we did and we were lucky enough to still be able to go away! Kitty, our Simpson Travel representative in Kalkan, was wonderful. She was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our needs. The villa was fabulous and had everything we could want. We have never used Simpson Travel before, but we certainly will be using them from now on. A 5-star service!

This is our first visit to Kalkan in over 8 years – it’s definitely grown since we were last here! Taş Bahçe is a beautiful oasis away from it all and we’ve had a glorious week doing very little. The villa is beautifully maintained and has everything you could wish for. We’ve had lovely meals in Olive Garden, Coast, Trading House, Kosli and Belgin’s Kitchen. All in all a fantastic week. The hamam is also really worth doing.

The Korsan Taş Bahçe is in such a wonderful location, we hardly left the villa as the views were so relaxing. Breakfast, lunch, a G&T before going out for dinner – Taş Bahçe is perfect for gazing out over uninterrupted views. The villa has a charm which is unique with rustic stone walls and very traditional furnishing – Claire has such good taste and always makes the villa feel like home. What a fantastic place to relax and unwind! Have had a marvellous couple of weeks, relaxing by the pool, heading out to see the ruins at Andriake (a fascinating place with an amazing museum, entrance a mere 5 TL) and revisiting Patara (we have noticed a lot more work has been completed since we visited last). If you do go to Patara make sure to visit the beach! All in all a fabulous week – already planning a return!
