High quality two-bedroom properties are increasingly hard to come by in an area that loves its vast, statement villas, so we were delighted to find the stylish Tepe Ev, one of a trio of smart new Simpson Travel villas set on a hillside above Kalkan.
Tepe Ev sits slightly above its neighbours, commanding exceptional sea views over Kalkan and as far as the Xanthos valley and Patara beach beyond. The villa has been cleverly designed to ensure your privacy by the pool, so you can bask in the sunshine, read in the shade or just sit with a drink and take in the stunning view without being disturbed. With just two bedrooms rather than Kalkan’s customary five or six, Tepe Ev is ideal for a couple or a smaller family. There’s no compromise on the little luxuries however, so be prepared to be thoroughly indulged; in addition to the beautiful infinity pool there’s a small plunge pool just off the master bedroom, with stylish interiors that can easily rival any of Kalkan’s much larger holiday homes. For an afternoon at the beach or an evening meal at one of the celebrated rooftop restaurants, Kalkan is just a five-minute drive down the hill, with plenty of taxis available if you’d prefer a glass or two with dinner. Car hire is included in your holiday, but as the villa sits high above Kalkan, we also include private transfers from the airport so there’s no need to negotiate the steep local roads on your first day. As someone who is lucky enough to enjoy 6+ foreign holidays a year, the Simpson Travel experience was without doubt the best overall service we have ever enjoyed. The communication, efficiency and the local rep where exemplary. The transfer, the initial Villa provisions, the complimentary boat trip and Hammam were exceptional additions. We were so impressed we have already rebooked for next year.

This was our 5th trip with Simpson Travel as we are always so well looked after and always feel like important customers ! Tepe Eve was incredible so peaceful ! a real dream breathtaking views and a great sized pool. Spacious accommodation and extremally well looked after property. Lovely team of cleaners and our rep Kay was always on hand. We had wonderful massages arranged for us in the villa and a delicious Meze platter delivered. You can also arrange BBQ cooked for you at the villa for a very reasonable price. We didn't want to leave and will book again for next year for sure. Thanks Simpson Travel another fantastic holiday.
This was our second consecutive holiday at villa Tepe Ev and it was as fabulous as our holiday in 2022. The villa is located in a beautiful spot with fantastic views and the sunset is breathtaking. It is only a 10 minute drive from Kalkan town centre and the taxi service is brilliant should you not want to drive yourself. If you are considering staying in villa Tepe Ev then do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed. Another wonderful holiday with Simpson Travel - thank you.
After a break of four years, we returned to Tepe Ev and we were not disappointed. A full-on week of pure relaxation! We visited Indigo Bach Club daily – customer service was excellent, we loved the location and the views were stunning. The villa is just amazing. On the nights we didn’t venture out, we just spent time watching the sun go down and dipping into the pool. Our rep, Kay, was always on hand if needed – a big thank you to her. We will not leave it for four years again…am already planning next year.

Tepe Ev is a real gem of a villa. Don't be put off by the steep track from the road to the villa as the view from the terrace is simply breathtaking. If you enjoy good food and a villa that offers total privacy and chill out with a view to die for then Tepe Ev won't disappoint.
I was hugely impressed by Simpson Travel from start to finish. Their communication in advance was excellent and once in Turkey the transfer, villa, contact with Kitty the rep was all spot on. It’s also the surprising additional benefits - however small (daily fresh bread delivered) or large (a day out on the Poseidon gulet boat) all included with the price of the villa booking. Would not hesitate to recommend Simpson Travel to anyone, they really are a class apart.
We had the most amazing holiday at Villa Tepe Ev and could not fault anything. To that end we booked to return in 2023 before returning home. The Villa is superb throughout, the cleaners are very thorough and friendly and the daily delivery of a loaf of complementary bread was very well received. The views are spectacular, especially when the sun sets and the location to Kalkan is superb. Although we had a hire car we utilised a local Taxi company to go out most evenings and they charged only 90TL (just less than £5) each way. Our representative Kitty is definitely worthy of mention as she was really helpful throughout, extremely knowledgable and very easy to get in touch with. A really enjoyable holiday and very highly recommended.

All round success as this was our first trip to Turkey. Simpsons we’re easy to deal with, gave valuable recommendations & took away any stress. From start to end we cannot recommend Simpsons travel enough, even the concierge at the destination was always willing to help with quick response & great advise on Kalkan & the surrounding area.
Lovely property, excellent pool and view. Taxi transfers from and to the airport were excellent. We had great service from Hasan, the local taxi driver, to take us to and from Kalkan harbour most evenings. The daily bread delivery was much appreciated. Kitty was very prompt in responding to our messages/queries but the lack of face-to-face contact due to Covid-19 was regrettable.
We wanted a private villa to completely relax and Tepe Ev delivered this and much more. A luxurious and spacious villa which was difficult to tear ourselves from, but we did to enjoy the complimentary Turkish Bath and boat trip, both absolutely lovely and visited Kalkan twice. Kalkan is a lovely place, beautiful harbour and relaxed. We returned home and booked the trip again for next September... a first for us!
We had a wonderful week at this stunning villa. A fabulous pool and a private and peaceful setting. It is the ideal spot to relax in the sun, have a drink in the shade, dine on the terrace or just enjoy the view. Nearby Kalkan has lots of fantastic restaurants, bars, shops and a wonderful atmosphere that we have thoroughly enjoyed but it isn’t easy to tear yourself away from Tepe Ev. We’re already missing the spectacular sunsets!
Thank you for a truly relaxing break. We really appreciated the included barbecue (it was a very special treat) and the villa was very comfortable and very private which can be difficult to find in Kalkan! Kitty was a wealth of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble.

We have had the best holiday at Tepe Ev. From start to finish, Simpson Travel has been fantastic, quick at replying to emails and the rep, Kitty, was super-efficient and friendly. Tepe Ev is a very special place – beautiful views over to Kalkan, quiet and private and the pool was superb. We wanted a memorable holiday for the end of GCSEs for my eldest and Simpson definitely succeeded in recommending this villa. Just need to book the next one now!
