The Valinco Villa Holidays

Looking for a luxury villa holiday without the crowds? Corsica’s Valinco Gulf in the south west of the island gets our vote, for families, couples and groups. Valinco Gulf villa holidays offer a quieter vibe than the eastern coast, ideal for anyone looking for a more authentic taste of Corsica. Whilst it may be less glitzy, the beaches on this untamed coastline are equally lovely; our favourites are the perfect crescent of golden sand at sleepy Campo Moro and the dazzling turquoise shallows of Roccapina, ideal for younger kids and non-swimmers. Another winner is La Tonnara, caressed by clear water and a top spot for sunset on its west-facing sands. Valinco Gulf villa holidays bring you closer to the true heart of Corsica, an idyllic escape for couples, families and friends.

Valinco Gulf villas for families

A family villa holiday on the Valinco Gulf offers you the precious gift of time. With no must-see sights or busy towns to navigate, you can all relax into an easy holiday rhythm of pool time and beach visits, setting the pace just the way you want it to be. Propriano punches above its weight in terms of good restaurants, with many pizza and ice cream options to keep even the pickiest little ones content. Campo Moro village is like a step back in time, with a sublime arc of fine sand and a handful of beach restaurants. If you want a bit more activity, there are watersports at Porto Pollo, boat trips and boat hire from Propriano, and for adrenaline fiends, canyoning in the hills and mountain gorges inland.

Villas for couples on the Valinco Gulf

The peaceful Valinco Gulf is where we have our best selection of smaller luxury villas for couples – but be quick, they book out really early! If you’re lucky enough to secure a one or two bedroom villa on the Valinco Gulf, you can look forward to not just blissful beach days and stunning views from your private pool but also vineyard visits, mountain walks and gentle exploration around Propriano, one of Corsica’s original little resort towns, and hillside Sartène, with its faintly sinister history of feuds and vendettas. There are prehistoric standing stones at Filitosa, amazingly evocative at sunset and a very photogenic little detour to enjoy before an indulgent dîner à deux on your own beautiful villa terrace. And if you want to do a little compare and contrast, it’s an easy day trip by car from our Valinco Gulf villas over to Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio on the east coast.

  • Wonderful location, right on the beach with a hotel next door for sundowners! Modern accommodation, immaculately presented. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We are a family of 6 adults and 2 young children. It was very safe and we had a lovely time. Thoroughly recommend.

  • We had a fantastic week in Propriano. Villa Supranu is fabulous — very spacious, comfortable and well kitted out but above all the stunning views from every single window and from the beautiful terrace. The pool is great and all the different seating areas meant we could relax and simply take in the stunning scenery. The sunsets are magical and watching the boats come and go. Propriano is a lovely little town with shops, bars, cafés and restaurants.
