NEW FOR 2026
Set above the picturesque harbour just south of Kardamyli, Diapori Suites promise to spoil you with sweeping views, stylish accommodation and a serene atmosphere, all within walking distance of this deservedly popular village. The hotel is made up of several handsome stone buildings built into the hillside, overlooking the vast blue of the Messinian gulf.
The construction is relatively new (2019), made from local stone and designed with a respectful nod to the traditional Mani tower houses that are such a feature of the region. Unlike the rather austere tower houses however, the Diapori Suites are large, welcoming and light-filled, with floor-to-ceiling windows to capture the wonderful views and beautiful social spaces both inside and out.
All the rooms and suites reserved for Simpson Travel guests have at least a side sea view, and when you want to experience the full panoramic sweep over the harbour, the village and the sea, you can pick your pool lounger and enjoy the ever-changing palette of blue, green and silver sparkling below.
With no children under 14 permitted (with the exception of infants, by arrangement), the ambiance at Diapori Suites is low-key and relaxing. There’s a gym and a spa to enhance that deep sense of well-being for those that wish, or you can simply wander along the cobbled path through the grounds and down to the harbour, where there’s a little pebble beach and a path that winds its way along the coast into Kardamyli village. Kardamyli has plenty of speciality shops, small restaurants and an excellent weekly farmers’ market, plus an historic old town with several well-preserved tower houses. Family-run and irresistibly romantic, this is an idyllic base to discover a relatively little-known corner of Greece.
