This charming, pastel-painted waterfront cottage is a rare find and a delightfully romantic property in the prettiest part of Kefalonia. In traditional style, the front door leads straight into the bedroom and from there stairs lead down via the small kitchen to a marvellous terrace. From this magical spot all the pleasures of dining, sunbathing, reading and enjoying the changing seascape, can be enjoyed all day long. The attractive harbour of Fiskardo, with its beautiful old houses and rather stylish shops and restaurants, is just a 15 minute stroll away and Foki beach, a curve of pebbles and the natural shade of olive and cypress trees, is closer still. A boat can be hired from Fiskardo to explore the many tiny coves along this coastline.

We had a really lovely holiday in Kefalonia. The weather was good, the accommodation fine and the views from our terrace beautiful. Thank you for helping to make our break such a success
Miss Collyer – September 2017
Efi's Cottage is perfectly located, a short stroll from Fiscardo harbourside but far enough out to feel very private. The outside space is particularly good - between the 2 terraces and the shadier seating area, there was shade or sun for the whole day, depending on your preferences. Swimming from the rocks below was a real added bonus. Fiscardo itself is a gem; I doubt there's a bad choice of property in the whole place. Much recommended!
Ms Hawes – July 2017
The cottage was lovely and we will be returning next year hopefully.
Mrs Walker – May 2017
We have travelled with a few well known tour operators and found the the Simpson service to be second to none! Many thanks.
Mr Taylor – July 2016
It will be difficult to find the standard of accommodation, support and advice with any other operator. Outstanding destinations and excellent but discrete local representation. Very hard to beat.
Mrs Howieson – May 2016
What a wonderful place this is ! We have enjoyed our stay at Efi's.
Mrs Parkin – August 2015
We have had a wonderful week at Efi's Cottage - we have loved every minute of it!
Mrs Bambury – July 2015
Thanks to Wendy for all her helpful tips. We have loved the seclusion of Efi, being able to sit on the terrace watching the boats go by.
Mrs Rouse – May 2015
It has been a lovely quiet week here. All in all a very enjoyable week, thanks to Wendy for all her help and tips.
Ms Rice – May 2015
The whole week has been fantastic. Spent many hours sitting on the terrace watching yachts and larger 'super cruisers' mooring in and out.
Mrs Oytaben – September 2014
The week has been really enjoyable. We were amazed to discover how lovely the setting is and how relaxing the holiday has been. We really appreciated Wendy's very helpful suggestions.
Mrs Burton – August 2014
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Efi's Cottage and have recharged our batteries. All in all a very relaxing holiday.
Mrs Downing – August 2014
A great place to chill out and relax; just what we needed!
Mrs Evans – August 2014

Lovely first week of the season. Breezy on the terrace.
Mrs Booth – May 2014
Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.

Densely forested hills dotted with traditional hamlets and a coastline of small, quiet coves combine to make Kefalonia an unspoilt Greek holiday delight. Its northeastern tip shelters an easily overlooked gem in Fiskardo, whose 18th-century houses stand proud with their flower-festooned balconies and carved doors. South Kefalonia tells a different story, quieter and more traditional, with tranquil villages and beautiful beaches, as well as Skala and Argostoli with its harbour bars and restaurants.
