Nestled on the lush green hillside, just a stone’s throw from Polis Beach this charming 1-bedroom house is perfect for a romantic escape on the beautiful island of Ithaca. The westerly aspect ensures captivating sunsets and inspiring views across the sea to Kefalonia from the private terrace and when the water calls, a footpath from the house leads directly down to the beach. Here, you’ll find a kantina serving delicious, simple fare throughout the day and sunbeds for hire should you wish to stretch out and watch the boats bobbing back and forth across the bay.
The accommodation is spacious, well laid out and comfortable and though Rhodia Beach Villa is one of a collection of three villas overlooking Polis Bay, it enjoys a good degree of privacy with everything needed for a relaxing break on this magical island. The traditional village of Stavros on the hill is a 5-minute drive or 25-minute walk away - perfect for everyday essentials and a small selection of tavernas. Charming Frikes by the water is a further 10-minute drive and offers a wider variety of dining options. Self-drive boat hire is readily available for exploring the island from the sea and back on terra firma our Local Concierge can advise on guided walks and art workshops which can be arranged on request.
Rhodia Beach Villa shares a driveway with Lemonia Beach Villa and Elia Beach Villa. The houses are independent and perfectly suited to private bookings but collectively, they also work well for multi-generational gatherings or groups of friends travelling together.

Another lovely Simpson holiday. We have very much enjoyed our stay at Rhodia Beach Villa – comfortable and well equipped with beautiful views over the bay. The weather has been very hot so swimming has been a must. Polis bay is great for a swim and Takis, the beach manager, is very popular. Judith has been a star, nothing too much trouble and very knowledgeable. Would come again.
We’ve had the most glorious week in Rhodia Beach Villa and staying in Polis Bay was perfect. Swimming every day. Takis, the beach manager, is a real character and looked after us well. We took a kayak out and also a paddleboard. The views are wonderful to wake up to and enjoy from the balcony into the evening. Stavros is a friendly little village with tavernas and cafés to try out. There was a festival one evening in the main square so we enjoyed dancing to traditional live music in a great local family atmosphere. Judith was really helpful and gave lots of useful advice. We are relaxed and refreshed after this wonderful stay on Ithaca. We will definitely be back!
We have had the most magical of holidays. Rhodia Beach Villa has met all our expectations and more; it is lovely, very comfortable and in an ideal position. Polis Beach is a five-minute walk away and offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful waters and the spectacular landscape of mountains and dramatic skies. Judith – you are a star! We have been truly well looked after by Simpson Travel. Our holiday has been so enjoyable, perfect and special that we have already committed ourselves to an advance booking for 2024. A lovely holiday property with a stunning view close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was exactly as described on the website. Excellent support from the Simpsons team throughout, with exceptional kindness and support shown when we had to go home early.
Another excellent Simpson holiday. Rhodia villa was everything we wanted. The location above Polis beach and excellent views made this a very special place. Special mention for Judith our rep, nothing was too much trouble and she was always available. The transfer from the airport to Ithaca road taxi and water taxi worked perfectly. Our first experience of both Ithaca and Simpson Travel and we were blown away by our experience. Our concierge, Judith, is an excellent ambassador of this island and it's people and of Simpson travel as an organisation. Her introductory talk proved a firm basis from which we could plan our week on Ithaka. Nothing was too much trouble and we knew we could contact her at any time for anything. The quality of the villa was superb. It was spacious and well designed. The bathroom in particular allowed us to spread out our toileteries and the shower was most effective. The information pre departure was accurate.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday experience. Good communication throughout with friendly staff. This company serves the more demanding clients who seek a high quality service. In our experience Simpson did not disappoint. Thoroughly recommend.
Everything from booking to returning home was an excellent experience. Communication at all times was first class. The ease of transfers from airport on to villa and return made the long journey extremely bearable and stress free. Judith, the rep, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and always available. The accommodation and location were superb. As a consequence we will be returning to the beautiful Island of Ithaca, the same comfortable villa and the beautiful views overlooking Polis Bay.

Beautiful bay and lovely beach a short stroll away from villa which has a gorgeous view to wake up to. Nearby some great restaurants & cafes including within walking distance of a busy village Stavros which we loved. We always try when on holiday to do without a car ( a small contribution toward climate change impact) and 'getting about' easily achieved. Great rep Judith always on hand as need be. First time with Simpsons. Not our last!
