Enjoying a blissful panorama across Polis Bay to Kefalonia, Lemonia Beach Villa is tucked into the hillside just a two-minute stroll from the water’s edge. The picturesque setting is the perfect showcase for the island’s natural beauty and the west-facing terrace is a dreamy venue for lounging and dining as you soak up the tantalising views. Down on the beach, a simple kantina is a charming spot for a bite to eat during the day and there are sunbeds available for stretching out with a book or taking a little nap while the waves lap gently against the shore. The colourful fishing boats moored up in the tiny harbour offer their daily catch and life here feels just as it’s meant to be – unhurried and contented.
The villa’s two en-suite bedrooms (one double and one twin) both have doors out onto the terrace and the living accommodation is spacious, well laid out and comfortable. Though Lemonia Beach Villa is one of a collection of three properties overlooking Polis Bay, it enjoys a good degree of privacy with everything needed for a relaxing break on this magical island. The traditional village of Stavros on the hill is a 5-minute drive or 25-minute walk away - perfect for everyday essentials and a small selection of tavernas. Charming Frikes by the water is a further 10-minute drive and offers a wider variety of dining options. Self-drive boat hire is readily available for exploring the island from the sea and back on terra firma our Local Concierge can advise on guided walks and art workshops which can be arranged on request.
Lemonia Beach Villa shares a driveway with Rhodia Beach Villa and Elia Beach Villa. The houses are independent and perfectly suited to private bookings but collectively, they also work well for multi-generational gatherings or groups of friends travelling together.

Delighted to have discovered the charms of Ithaca. Beautiful beaches and stunning scenery, all seeped in ancient history. We were pleasantly surprised by the array of restaurants – we tried a new one every night and enjoyed them all. The villa is in a stunning position.
Spacious and well equipped. Lemonia has suited us well. The views and just a short walk to lovely Polis bay have been lovely. We have loved every minute back on Ithaca – boat hire exploring Exogi, swimming, excellent meals, and with time to relax on this unspoiled island. We shall be back. Judith’s enthusiasm and support have been appreciated.
Undoubtedly the best holiday with Simpsons that we have had. The location of the villa was perfect for our needs. The Simpsons representative, Judith, was always contactable for any guidance that we needed and she shared her extensive knowledge of the wonderful island that is Ithaca.
Here alone to read and write – my first visit to Ithaca (after previous visits to Paxos and Meganissi). Ithaca has soul and it was fascinating being surrounded by Australian-Greek families on the beach. I had many fantastic coffees in Stavros and people have all be chatty and interesting. We had a marvellous holiday at Lemonia Villa. The accommodation was spacious and very clean. The views were fantastic and it was a delight to have a beautiful beach just an easy 2-minute walk away. Simpson Travel's representative, Judith, really helped to make our holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. She had detailed knowledge of the island as only a local can and was able to give advice on restaurants and must see places to visit. She was always one step ahead and able to sort out our problems with Easyjet very quickly and efficiently. A wonderful family holiday with a teenager. Really enjoyed swimming and snorkelling in the bay. Amazing trips around, best was boat hire organised by Judith – great exploration of coves and hidden beaches. We found meals out were great and the friendly locals made us feel welcome, happy and relaxed. Any doubts we had about entertaining a teenager were soon dismissed due to the magic of Ithaca. A perfect getaway, want to keep it a secret!

Everything was so seamless and it was all the little extra touches that made this holiday so great. Being met at the airport by the rep with a bottle of water, so simple yet so fantastic. The welcome food at the apartment was so thoughtful as we didn't have to worry about running out to the shops to get water and bits as it was enough for some afternoon snacks and breakfast. Loved cracking open the bottle of wine whilst we unpacked. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need, again the little things like a cool box, tupperware and clingfilm, perfect for taking food out and about. The island of Ithaca was stunning, absolutely idyllic and the location of the apartment with a private 2 minute walk down to the beach was fantastic. It meant that when our boys (16 and 12) either wanted to go to the beach before us or come back early they could go by themselves. This holiday delivered on everything for my family and I am so impressed by the level of service and thought of Simpsons. Just amazing.

A glorious three week stay – to make up for not being able to travel last year! Ithaca is a dream come true – a wondrous isle. Great swims here in Polis, but also Frikes and Kioni. Wonderful walks – we really recommend the walk along the road from Anogli to the monastery. The views are divine! Fantastic fresh food from a host of tavernas. And, best of all, welcoming, warm and friendly people. The apartment was clean and spacious with amazing views. A final warm word of praise has to go to Judith – a travel rep ‘par excellence’. Nothing is too much trouble for her! We will be back.
