Within easy walking distance of Kalkan’s vibrant centre and the host of upmarket beach clubs dotted around the bay, Villa Venus has everything you might wish for in this cosmopolitan and sophisticated harbour town. The choice of restaurants and quality of food here is exceptional and as the call to prayer echoes across the bay, and the lights of the rooftop restaurants begin to sparkle in the soft evening light, it is hard to imagine a more perfect setting for a candlelit dinner. A little further afield Turkey’s stunning Turquoise Coast is yours to explore and if you’re after a little splendid isolation, nearby Patara beach is stunning, with seven miles of uninterrupted sand to roam at will.

All guests staying in Kalkan are treated to a complimentary Turkish bath (hamam) treatment in the Kalkan Regency hotel's renowned spa and a day trip on the hotel’s traditional gület boat, Poseidon, with lunch and a welcome glass of bubbles included (additional drinks will need to be paid for on board). 5-star – highly recommend! This villa is wonderful – it has everything you need to relax as well as to cook properly. The kitchen is very well stocked and we liked the range of pots, glasses, crockery, etc. The water dispenser in the kitchen is fantastic – just WhatsApp Figo when you need more. The cleaners come twice a week and sweep everywhere leaving the villa refreshed, clean and with new linen and towels. The pool is fantastic as is the barbecue and multiple places to sit and enjoy the amazing views.
We had a marvellous time in Kalkan – from the moment we opened the front door and feasted our eyes upon the incredible view. The infinity pool. That is a full sentence because it just gets better the more you look at it and even better during a sunset. The day stretches out into an exciting night life as you wonder the winding streets popping into the shops and perusing the various restaurants. We spent most of our mornings (after soaking in the morning view from the villa) paddle boarding at Indigo Beach Club. They are incredibly friendly and helpful there. Turkish bath and boat ride are a must! We’ve had a wonderful time.
