NEW FOR 2025

The Katergo Villas enjoy a prime seaside position by the walking/cycling path between Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos. It’s a wonderful location and absolutely typical of the region, surrounded by the olive groves which cover so much of the Mani. The owner takes great pride in his villas, aiming to offer an experience which is both low-key and luxurious, so you feel both pampered and perfectly at home.

The outside space is generous for a villa of this size, with a pristine private pool and sunbathing terrace. Being at the end of the row, Kallas has the added appeal of an olive grove directly to one side, enhancing the sense of privacy. Each of the two bedrooms also has its own balcony, and the sea views from the first floor are mesmerising, especially at sunset. Good news if you prefer to sleep with the windows open rather than air-con on: all the windows have mosquito nets so you can drift off without fear of that dreaded high-pitched whine!

The shoreline immediately in front of Kallas is rocky, with swimming, snorkelling and rock-pooling opportunities about a 10-minute walk away (jelly shoes recommended). Head a little further along the coastal path and you’ll come to an arc of golden sand at Stoupa, which is also an excellent place for dinner. If you want to open up a bigger area without using the car, bikes or e-bikes are widely available locally, and the cycle path running between Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos means you don’t need to worry about riding on roads.

Two-bedroom Kallas is ideal for couples or a smaller family, and also combines well with neighbouring Koroneiki and Kalamon to accommodate a group of up to 12 if required.

In Greece, a tourist tax may apply at your accommodation which will be payable locally, in cash, during the course of your holiday. Please use the link to view details specific to your accommodation. View tourist tax rates here.

Considering a holiday in the Peloponnese? Welcome to a land of golden beaches, crimson sunsets and cerulean seas, where myth intertwines with history and the past is ever-present. This spectacular region lies at the southern tip of the Greek mainland, with three peninsulas reaching out towards Crete, each offering a slightly different Peloponnese holiday experience. The whole area is blissfully unspoilt and blessed with some of the longest and best beaches in Greece.

With its tempting combination of high-quality accommodation and unspoilt landscapes, a luxury holiday in the Peloponnese has very wide appeal, whether you choose family-friendly Stoupa for its soft sandy beaches, discreetly upmarket Agios Nikolaos for its excellent restaurants or the Costa Navarino for its renowned golf courses and glorious coastline, featuring one of the most photographed beaches in all of Greece. With prices generally lower than the island destinations and quality that we consider to be unrivalled in Greece, the Peloponnese is highly recommended for luxury holidays.
