Stylish Casa Julia brings you the best of all villa worlds, charmingly located in a beautiful natural setting, yet still within walking distance of Ste Lucie de Porto Vecchio village. The house is surrounded by what feels like your own private forest, floodlit by night to add a hint of drama and romance to dinner by the pool. Inside all is modern and bright, with vast picture windows that slide open to access the terrace: a perfect spot for sunny days and starlit nights.
Holiday time is precious, so location is everything, and Casa Julia is brilliantly positioned to make the most of this highly desirable area. Ste Lucie has an excellent bakery, two supermarkets and all the little shops you might want day to day, plus a handy pizza place where you can take Corsica’s signature wood-fired pizzas home to enjoy at your villa. If you prefer to eat out, it’s just a five-minute drive to Pinarello, which has three wonderful beaches and a selection of restaurants looking out over them. There are watersports for those that wish, but the pace here is rather more relaxed than the more famous beaches like Palombaggia or Santa Giulia, especially in the peak season, and there are other quieter gems such as Fautea and Tarcu within a six to ten-minute drive. For a refreshing contrast the coast you can have a swim in the spectacular rock pools just inland, or spend an adrenalin-fuelled afternoon canyoning, mountain biking or discovering the forest interior at the Tyroliana high ropes course.
