Kaş is often referred to as 'bohemian' or 'more traditionally Turkish', and whilst those are accurate descriptions, this beautiful new (2023) waterfront hotel on the Kaş peninsula is elegant, stylish and bang up to date.

The geography of the rugged, west-facing peninsula means that design is governed by the land – and the sea. Casa Bi is laid out across six small buildings, each taking full advantage of the terrain to maximise the amazing views and spectacular sunsets. Steps run all the way down from the hotel to the sea, where there’s a sun deck and swimming platform that hovers enticingly above the shimmering turquoise water. It’s a really special place to enjoy the peninsula landscape, and the owner will be extending the waterside space with a larger platform and new bar area for summer 2024. This thoughtful approach is typical of the genuine and very personal service we have enjoyed here, and we’re confident our guests will love the Casa Bi experience as much as we do.

Breakfast offers a feast for all the senses, served overlooking the sea with the gentle swish and lap of the waves below. The main hotel pool and bar are also on this level, creating a sociable meeting point for sunset drinks if you’re in the mood for company. If, however, you only have eyes for each other then we recommend one of the rooms with private pool, perfect for any celebratory occasion. Once evening falls and the sky fades into the flattering pinks and golds of sunset, Kaş beckons with its myriad excellent restaurants, and taxis are plentiful if you prefer not to drive to dinner. The town definitely deserves several visits to explore its narrow, bougainvillea-bedecked streets, quirky little shops and ancient ruins, be it the impressively intact amphitheatre or the sunken ruins at Kekova, accessed by boat from Kaş’s charming marina. Whatever your interests, the intimate scale and attentive service at Casa Bi promise a most relaxing and memorable holiday.
