Villa Luna is built entirely from local stone in palest honey gold, sitting pretty as a picture against a backdrop of green olive trees and russet earth. The open outlook lends a glorious sense of space to the pool area, complete with a stone pergola and loungers for all. Come golden hour, it’s time to climb up to the upper terrace so you can enjoy the view from another angle as the evening light burnishes the landscape to copper and gold.
With two double en suite bedrooms, this is a house that would make an excellent honeymoon escape, or a very comfortable base for two couples. The living space is generously sized and leads out to a shady terrace, just the spot for long, leisurely lunches with the valley as your backdrop. Barrel-vaulted ceilings give a nod to the traditional architecture of the region, while air-con throughout means comfort even in the height of a southern Italian summer.
