The single storey layout is both pretty and practical, with pitched ceilings that make the space feel extra light and airy, and air-conditioned bedrooms to guarantee a good night’s sleep for all. The décor is smartly contemporary all the way through the villa, but you’re likely to want to spend most of your time outside, making the most of the lush front garden, sparking private pool and wide, sunny terrace. It’s a great place for a quiet morning coffee before the rest of the house stirs, or an easy pool-side dinner after a day out exploring the island by car or local bus.
If you simply want to unwind, relax and enjoy making memories with your favourite people, this is a brilliant base with everything you need within walking distance. A 10-minute stroll takes you to the harbour front and its long promenade, shaded by mulberry trees by day and pleasantly lively once dusk falls and the restaurants beckon with candle-lit tables and the catch of the day. Much of the front is pedestrianised so you can wander at leisure checking out the small galleries, cafes, shops and bars that make Skopelos such a desirable place to visit, and all just a short walk from your villa’s front door.
