The sense of space feels wonderfully relaxing from the moment you arrive. Leave the bags and take a moment to appreciate the huge grounds, the koi carp pond and the lush green lawns, all with far-reaching views over the west Algarve countryside. The large pool is set to one side of the lawned area, flanked by trees, shrubs and colourful flowers, and furnished with comfortable loungers and parasols so you can enjoy this lovely aspect all day long.
A spot like this is hard to leave, but this top location is very well placed for exploring the beautiful beaches and distinctive landscapes of the western Algarve. The seaside towns of Lagos and Alvor are a 15 to 20 minutes’ drive away, or if you’re after more of a resort experience, Le Meridien Penina resort, with its championship golf course and choice of restaurants, is 8 minutes away by car.

Algarve holidays promise a wealth of different experiences and landscapes, whether you choose a private villa or a hotel as your base.
