The single-storey layout works very well for a family, with a spacious open-plan living and dining area opening directly onto the terrace and pool area. There’s an attractive shaded dining patio just off the front of the villa, so you can enjoy lunch out of the glare of the afternoon sun or sit and read in the shade whilst keeping a watchful eye on the kids in the pool. At 12m long, this pool is also big enough to let you work off those irresistibly good pasteis de nata, which is just as well with so many lovely cafes and restaurants a mere 500m away in Carvoeiro.
The villa is surrounded by walls and hedging for privacy, and for sea views you can go up onto the roof terrace, which is a favourite spot in the cool of the morning or at sunset. And whilst the adults are enjoying the views, any teenagers in your party can wander down to the beach or into Carvoeiro as and when they like, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere for all.
