Ca’n Moixet is set in pretty countryside between Pollensa town and the coast, with lovely views of the hill known as Puig Maria, the most distinctive landmark in the area. There’s a short but steep hike to the top for those with energy to burn, and it’s just five minutes by car to the old town of Pollensa, renowned for its buzzy cafés and colourful Sunday market.

The convenient location between beach and town gives this charming, single-storey villa very wide appeal, but what we love most about it is the wonderful outdoor space, complete with fig and lemon trees for a suitably Mediterranean feel. If you’re travelling with younger children, the big lawns are perfect for wobbly toddlers or a kick about with a football, and there’s plenty of shade either on the covered dining terrace or the poolside summer house for cooling off. For a couple or a small group of friends, it's a wonderful spot to laze in the sun or sip a nightcap by the pool, savouring the sounds and soft fragrance of a warm Mallorcan evening.

Bright and airy, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the villa offers plenty of space for a family or two couples travelling together. The wide sandy arc of Puerto Pollensa beach is a just a short drive away, and here you can also find boat trips, sailing schools and the smart new marina which is a great spot for people watching from a waterside café. For a more traditional feel, Pollensa old town is a very relaxing place to explore by day or by night.

Great villa, just outside Pollensa. Lovely gardens, great accommodation, many lunches on the terrace and hours spent by the pool. Pollensa is a lovely town, so many super restaurants and bars. Puerto Pollensa is magical to sit and enjoy an ice cream. Formentor beach is breath taking but our favourite was Cala Saint Vicenc, the snorkelling is just out of this world. C’an Moixet – What an exquisite, lovely place and home. Definitely 5* plus! We love the eclectic collection of pictures and sculptures and all the other objets d’art. We have had the most enjoyable of times here. Very relaxing for the oldies and plenty of play time in the pool (over and over and over again!) and in the garden for the boys (ages 7 and 5). We enjoyed the garden with its varied collection of plants. Pollenca market on Sunday morning is well worth doing. Hot and dry week with temps in upper 20’s °C. In short, all wonderful!!

We've had an absolutely wonderful stay at C'an Moixet. It's the first time we've booked through Simpson Travel, but as soon as we saw the details for this villa, we loved it. The gardens were glorious, we spent ages exploring them and playing on the swing, using the garden games, picking oranges and lemons. The pool is fabulous. We really loved the villa too, so spacious and lovely with old furniture and works of art. The icing on the cake was the pond - my daughter has a pet tree frog at home and she loved watching all the frogs and hearing them out at night, it was fabulous. Amanda the concierge was so helpful and went out of her way to answer our questions. Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday in Ca’n Moixet. Our little one spent most of her time in the pool – it’s a great place to relax, eat and swim! Old Town Pollença market is well worth a visit. Claire, the rep, was superb.
