NEW FOR 2025

To live within sight and sound of the sea is a dream for many, and at Koroneiki you can make this dream come true, at least for a week or so. The house is one of three, recently built in local Maniot style from chunky pale stone and facing directly out to sea. True to tradition, the main entrance to the villa is at first floor level, which would once have served as the first line of defence against pirates and other unwelcome visitors, but now provides the perfect spot to watch the sunsets which are so special along this coast.

The house is entirely open plan over its three floors, with an en-suite double bedroom on the ground floor and a second one on a mezzanine under the eaves at the top. In between is a cosy contemporary kitchen and living area which leads onto the glass-fronted balcony, but the loveliest lounging space can be found outside around the generously-sized swimming pool. Each villa has its own pool and garden, separated by fencing and flower planters for privacy; if you’re travelling with a larger party, Koroneiki combines perfectly with Kalamon and Kallas to sleep up to 12 in great comfort.

The owner has poured his heart into these villas, and it shows in the many thoughtful additions, from Smart TVs for the occasional Netflix fix, to mosquito nets on the windows so you can leave them open and fall asleep to the sound of the sea. With plenty of home comforts and your own pool and garden, this is an idyllic base for some well-deserved rest, and when you feel like sand between your toes or dinner by the sea, the little beach resort of Stoupa is an easy 15-minute walk away along the coastal bike path that runs in front of the villas.

Considering a holiday in the Peloponnese? Welcome to a land of golden beaches, crimson sunsets and cerulean seas, where myth intertwines with history and the past is ever-present. This spectacular region lies at the southern tip of the Greek mainland, with three peninsulas reaching out towards Crete, each offering a slightly different Peloponnese holiday experience. The whole area is blissfully unspoilt and blessed with some of the longest and best beaches in Greece.

With its tempting combination of high-quality accommodation and unspoilt landscapes, a luxury holiday in the Peloponnese has very wide appeal, whether you choose family-friendly Stoupa for its soft sandy beaches, discreetly upmarket Agios Nikolaos for its excellent restaurants or the Costa Navarino for its renowned golf courses and glorious coastline, featuring one of the most photographed beaches in all of Greece. With prices generally lower than the island destinations and quality that we consider to be unrivalled in Greece, the Peloponnese is highly recommended for luxury holidays.
