Introduction to Mallorca

With its beautiful sandy bays, Mallorca is a classic family-friendly beach holiday destination, but there’s more to this Balearic Island than a glorious coastline. It’s a sun-warmed melting pot of elegant harbours, picturesque villages, ancient town squares and pine forests with spectacular mountain scenery – and for those choosing a luxury holiday in a Simpson Travel villa, the historic capital Palma is a sophisticated complement, with its impressive cathedral, winding streets and abundance of bars and restaurants. Mallorca is also home to some of Spain’s finest golf courses, but if you prefer to stay in or near the water, there’s scuba diving, snorkelling and sailing too.

Our Mallorca portfolio includes idyllic rural retreats for couples, an elegant luxury hotel, and spacious family-friendly villas complemented by a private nanny service and pool fencing, ensuring a wonderfully relaxing escape - even with little ones in tow.

Fornalutx & Sóller

A thriving town with an historic past, life in tranquil Sóller centres around its impressive main square, where trams trundle by on their way to chic Puerto Sóller through fragrant citrus groves. Nearby is the mountain village of Fornalutx, a wonderful example of Mallorquin architecture, overlooking the stunning Sóller Valley.

Pollensa & Puerto Pollensa

The town of Pollensa, framed by the Tramuntana Mountains and scented by pines, is a cluster of cobbled streets and medieval squares. The town’s port, Puerto Pollensa, has grown from a small fishing village into a cosmopolitan resort satisfying most tastes yet still retaining its traditional charm.
