Holidays in Loggos
Tiny Loggos harbour shelters a cluster of tavernas, small shops, a tempting bakery and some stunning luxury apartments where you can see and hear the turquoise Ionian Sea lapping gently just metres from your balcony. There’s little here to interrupt the idyllic Paxos rhythm of bakery-beach-bed, though if you take your holiday in July or August, Loggos becomes much livelier after sun-down as visiting yachts moor up to enjoy its renowned waterfront tavernas. You’ll find your apartment well-equipped for self-catering, but dinner on the harbour front is a holiday must.
Exploring Paxos
Simpson apartment holidays on Paxos all include car hire, or you can hop on the local bus to Lakka or the capital Gaios for a long lunch and a wander round the intriguing jumble of traditional stores and chic boutiques. Boat hire is another essential Paxos pleasure: load up the supplied cool box, pack your snorkel and potter off to find your own private cove for the day.
