This is a lovely villa and the surrounding area is lovely. We will be back next year!
Lovely villa with superb views, making it difficult to drag yourself away to enjoy the local area. We had a really authentic trip to Ula, market day on Friday. It was amazing, with us being the only tourists. If you follow Nihat’s suggestions in his welcoming e-mail, you won’t go far wrong. Nihat was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
We’ve had such a lovely week. Truly relaxing and we were able to switch off. It’s a great villa – one of our Simpson favourites. We’ve really enjoyed so many delicious meals – the homecooked/delivered meal was perfect. Thanks to Nihat for his help and well done Simpson on finding a wonderful place.

Customer Feedback Our stay at the Shepherds House was out of this world. The view is so incredible from the side of the hill out across the bay. The villa is spacious for 4 people and the air conditioning works really well throughout, which mattered when it was so hot outside. The pool and the garden were well kept and were a lovely to place to spend time in. Nihat our concierge was really friendly and so helpful to us. Always on hand so we could ask a question or to book us a restaurant or some boat hire. Akyaka the town nearby is very pretty with traditional architecture and lots of flowers. The people were friendly and there were many restaurants to choose from. We spent lots of time at Cinar beach which is very pretty and close by. My teenage daughter asked if we could come back every year. A great endorsement.
What a lovely little secluded villa, which exceeded all expectations. Nihat was amazing and sorted out taxis and restaurant bookings as well as recommendations. The deli in Akyaka, just up the hill from Migros, is amazing and there is a lovely wine shop just further up. All is all a fabulous week. Thank you.
We enjoyed two wonderful weeks, the first in The Shepherd's Hut and the second in Zetyn Evi in Sogut. Both properties were first class and the Simpson rep for both places, Nihat and his team were outstanding. Nihat was knowledgeable, responsive and friendly, advising on places to visit, booking restaurants and boat trips and generally enhancing our experience - we had a great time!

Thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in this lovely and quirky villa! We’ve spent many hours in and around the pool as well as sampling most of the restaurants in Akyaka. All good! Sevgi brought us delicious bread each morning as well as hosing and cleaning the patio area. A big thanks to Nihat who has been extremely helpful and very quick to respond to our needs.
A very well presented villa which had the added benefit of being in a very quiet location with outstanding views. It exceeded expectations and as usual showed Simpson Travel's excellent selection of properties for those who look for seclusion, comfort and a bit of sun!
This was a lovely spot that was just what we wanted. Quiet, good pool and outdoor space and suited to our young family that loves swimming. Close enough to town for a quick trip in and plenty of day trips and activities to choose from and some great beaches close by. Nothing was too much trouble for Jess, who even helped us out with another car seat even though we didn't book our car via Simpson. With Simpson you get that bit extra with service, quality and local support (but not too much) and it's worth it!
A fabulous week spent in Akyaka. First visit to that part of Turkey and would certainly return. Jess and her team were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved the Shepherds House. Amazing location with wonderful views.

What a lovely week we have had in this lovely, characterful villa. Sitting outside in the morning looking at the wonderful view has been so relaxing. In the evening, we enjoyed the hooting owl, the darting bats and the fantastic lightening shows. We went out for two Turkish breakfasts and both were unique in their own way and delicious.
Lovely week here – a contrast to our first week at the Korsan Suites in Kalkan. Beautiful location and a warm and cosy setting for the house. We did a lot of relaxing but also enjoyed the enormous fruit and vegetable market on Thursday – a must. The winery at Datça – very good tastings and cheap to buy wine. The Bozburun Peninsula and all the stopping off places.

We loved our stay in this peaceful house. Highlights have been lots of gözleme at roadside cafés, kayaking down the river and kitesurfing. Thanks so much to Jessica – a real star, super helpful, very efficient, organised and very interesting company.
Superb location, as one could best describe as ‘organic Turkey’. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and the views are fantastic. Best beach Çinar which is literally a 10-minute drive down the hill and a little beyond. Best restaurant Café West down by the river. Eating out is so reasonable and excellent (and friendly staff!). The butcher is great for getting chicken for the barbecue should you wish to eat in. Must thank Mehmet for all his help and the early bread delivery every day. Thank you also to Kadriye and her team for doing a great job of cleaning the villa. We think the villa is quirky and unlike anything we have stayed in over the several years we have been with Simpson Travel. You do get used to it! Would also like to give Jessica a big thank you for everything, which she does professionally and efficiently.
We love combining beach, walking and visiting historical sites whilst on holiday. This is something that the Simpson Travel reps will always advise us on and, together with the comfort and flexibility of a Simpson villa, leads to a relaxing and interesting holiday. From boat trips to mud-baths, our time in Turkey was thoroughly enjoyable and I still had time to read four books!
We are two old fogies who have very much enjoyed our week here. At our age we haven't wanted to visit beaches and rush around too much, but we've loved the pool, the peace, the views and the mountain backdrop. The welcome hamper was excellent and the number of things provided...more than we expected, and the lovely fresh bread provided by Mehmet when he came to do the pool in the mornings was a real bonus!

A super holiday with a very good company. We stayed in The Shepherds House in Akyaka which was so peaceful and beautiful. The house itself was perfect, both inside and out, constructed by a local man, much attention being given to the tiny touches. Pool lovely, outside area large with panoramic views over the mountains, sea to the Bozburun Peninsula. We were very well looked after, especially at the house and the weather hot and sunny. Wildlife around including tortoise, birds, lizards, fireflies and a visit by a wild boar.
