It’s a wonderful choice for families seeking space and comfort close to all the many charms of Carvoeiro, including Centianes beach, a 15- to 20-minute walk away.
With sweeping sea views from the roof and pool terrace, this is a villa designed for easy days enjoying the Algarve sunshine, and if you choose to visit in the early or late season, there’s a walled terrace to shelter you from sea breezes, plus the option of pool heating so you can enjoy the water for much longer. Inside, the house is practically furnished and well equipped for a family holiday. If the kids love a barbecue then this is a top choice, supplied with two separate grill options for stress-free family meals, and a private inner courtyard off the dining room.
Carvoeiro is one of our favourite resorts on the Algarve, retaining a pleasing level of village charm alongside its many shops and restaurants – you can drive here in under 10 minutes, or Ubers are plentiful if you’d rather have a glass or two of fine Portuguese wine with your meal. Closer yet you’ll find a handful of local restaurants and the gentle greens of Vale do Milho’s beginner-friendly nine-hole course within walking distance, and you can walk to the golden sands of Centianes beach in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Algarve holidays promise a wealth of different experiences and landscapes, whether you choose a private villa or a hotel as your base.
Portugal’s most southerly region boasts an iconic and instantly recognisable coastline of fine sandy beaches backed by ochre-yellow cliffs, sea stacks and rock archways that stand testament to the power of nature. Portuguese cuisine is in our view one of the most underrated in Europe, so prepare to be deliciously surprised by fresh fish, hearty stews, sweet pastries and of course, world-renowned wines: saúde!
