Private Dining at La Chartreuse

For restaurant-quality dining in the comfort of your own villa, the owners of La Chartreuse offer seasonal, fresh and entirely homemade menus. Dinner is served as a full service option, which comes with laid tables, all food as agreed and clean up at the end of the evening, all for around 70 euros per person. The team is happy to work with your preferences so a menu can be truly bespoke.

Alternatively, your hosts can provide a drop off service for you to heat and serve whenever you wish. This option costs around 40 euros per adult/20 per child under 15. Sample menus are shown below with a minimum of 6 people; prices for smaller groups on request.

 

Bistro-style Menu:
Start the evening with a drink on the terrace along with some small plates of garden and local produce such as:

watermelon gazpacho, pickled carrots, pickled fennel, salted and roasted Marcona almonds, radishes and taramasalata, boudin noir with apple puree

Sit down to:

Country terrine with rhubarb pickles
Smoked trout and salmon pate with cucumber
White asparagus with vin jaune sabayon
Onion tart with lambs lettuce
7 hour whole leg of lamb with sherry, garlic and herbs
or
Large roasted seabass (per 2 people)
with potato, fennel and lemon dauphinoise, wood grilled courgettes, roasted tomatoes


Rich and sticky chocolate mousse with confit cherry
Freshly made ice cream or sorbet with tuile biscuit
Pannacotta with poached fruit

Scallop and cucumber brochette with spicy coral butter
Duck breast and merguez brochette
Herby marinated lamb chops
Citrus salmon fillet
Grilled sardines
Charred little gem and spring onion salad
