Island Concierge, Skopelos

You in a nutshell…

Seventeen years ago, Skopelos became my home, where I’ve built my life as a mother, wife and business owner - shaped by family, hard work and a blend of cultures.

Why do you love Skopelos?

Endless turquoise waters, hidden beaches, and pine trees that reach all the way down to the sea; Skopelos captured my heart from the very first moment. But what truly makes it special goes beyond its natural beauty. It’s the warmth of the local people, their generosity, and the traditions that remain alive throughout the year. It’s knowing your neighbours, sharing coffee in the square, and feeling part of something genuine.

Your top tip…

Don’t just stay around the harbour! Wander through the alleyways, explore beyond the waterfront, and discover the restaurants and bars tucked quietly behind it. That’s where you’ll truly feel the island’s authentic charm. If you prefer not to drive, the local bus service is excellent and connects most of the island’s beautiful beaches comfortably and easily.

Not a lot of people know this but…

With pine forests covering most of the island and more than 360 churches scattered across its hills, the island is rich in both natural beauty and deep-rooted tradition.
