Originally from the UK, I now call the Mani Peninsula home. With a lifelong background in hospitality, I enjoy helping guests experience the area as a local would, sharing recommendations that create lasting holiday memories.

Why do you love this region?

The Mani has a character of its own. It's a place where the sea, the mountains and the sky seem to come together, creating a landscape that's hard to forget.

Why did you choose travel as a career?

Having owned and run my own restaurants for over 25 years, looking after my guests has always been at the heart of what I do. Working in travel allows me to continue doing what I enjoy most – making people feel welcome, anticipating their needs and helping them get the very best from their time in Greece.

Your top tip…

While the Mani is renowned for its spectacular coastline and clear waters, don’t spend all your time by the sea. Venture inland into the magnificent Taygetos Mountains, where you’ll discover traditional stone villages, breathtaking scenery, scenic walking trails and a completely different side of the region. The contrast between mountain and coast is what makes the Mani so unique.

Not a lot of people know this but…

The Mani has only had electricity and modern roads for a relatively short time. Until the middle of the 20th century, many villages were still reached by old paths and mule tracks, helping to preserve the traditional way of life that gives the region its unique character today.
