You in a nutshell…

“Always be kind” is my motto and I am passionate about all the little lost souls (stray animals on the island) and love helping local charities.

Outgoing and friendly, I just love meeting new people & helping them to make special memories. Travel & meeting people is my true métier.

Why do you work in travel?

I was in my early teens when my family moved to a bustling country pub in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, I absolutely loved meeting all the different personalities and tourists/travellers, having always loved travel the two just integrated perfectly!

Why do you love your destination?

Geographically, Mallorca is very diverse island which has great culture and gastronomy; I have grown to know and admire the Mallorquin people and learned to understand their eternal pride for this spectacular island of contrasts.

I have been lucky enough to work in several different countries/places, but always returned to Mallorca which had me bewitched and a special pull on my heartstrings.

Your top tip…

Much of the hinterland remains unspoilt, giving the opportunity to discover the quaint villages and to sample the excellent restaurants hidden away down their narrow side streets!

Sunrise is one of the most magical experiences – head up to Formentor, it needs to be very early as road restrictions kick in during the summer months – but so very worth it!

Favourite spot for sunset and the golden hour is “Mirador Es Colomer”

Not a lot of people know this but…

In Mallorca we have unique wildlife that evolved in isolation, featuring rare endemics like the tiny ferreret toad, which is found only in the rocky ravines of the Serra Tramontana mountains. The locals call it a ferreret (little blacksmith) because its mating call sounds like a small hammer hitting an anvil.
