We are an exacting family, but we loved the whole rural retreat experience. The journey went seamlessly; the car was collected without any problems and directions were clear. The welcome pack was really appreciated. Ca'n Pensit was just our cup of tea! We loved the converted finca, garden, pool and neighbouring sheep with their bells. The views from the numerous seating areas were beautiful, varied and tailored to different times of the day. We braved the pool on 1st April while looking at the snowcapped mountains – foolish? We would recommend Simpson Travel and intend to use them again.
R Atherton – April 2018
Thank you for a lovely stay in your charming villa. Muchos gracias. Thank you to Margarita and to Graham for quickly hosting us in this villa, after some noisy neighbours bothered us in our previous villa. We have enjoyed the peace and quiet here where my baby can sleep. It's a great villa, with everything you need. Many thanks.
Francesca Davies – October 2017
The service provided by Simpson Travel was excellent throughout and the accommodation was just as described and perfect for our requirements. We will be revisiting without a doubt.
Mr Capps – September 2017
Our second trip to Mallorca but our first with Simpson Travel. We were very impressed – from the meet and greet at the airport to the personal welcome from Graham and the mid-week visit from the effervescent Margarita, who charmed us all despite us not speaking a word of Spanish, nor she English. We had a lovely week at the villa which is in such a beautiful spot and really well situated for reaching so much of the island within 30-40 minutes. Would recommend Pollença market on a Sunday – such a vibrant town and Valdemossa is quaint and charming. Alcúdia was a bit of a hidden gem which we visited after a trip to Playa Sant Joan – most gorgeous beach. We also loved Formentor but it was extremely busy as we went on a Sunday. With so much to see and do we didn't spend long enough lazing around the villa, but I managed a few yoga sessions on the terrace to the rising sun and tinkling goat bells – very Zen! We will miss Ca'n Pensit. Thanks Margarita and Graham.
The Howes Family – August 2017
Where to begin? The villa, the garden, the views, the pool, the weather – all wonderful. What a fabulous week. I return back to the UK very relaxed. Thank you Margarita and Graham.
Tim – July 2017
Amazing view, gorgeous villa – perfect holiday! Thank you very much!
Jemima – July 2017
What an amazing villa! Such beautiful grounds and wonderful views. Lovely situation, gateway to Sa Calobra and charming villages of Caimari and Selva. Thank you Margarita and Graham for a fantastic holiday.
Jacqui – July 2017
Love the atmosphere. Thank you.
Joseph – July 2017
Our first visit to Mallorca and we have had a great week. Lazy mornings by the pool and then afternoons spent exploring. The mountain road coming out of the village takes you over to Sóller, Pollença and Sa Calobra. The views of the mountains and the sea are breathtaking! Palma is a must to see and only 45 minutes away and for a complete relax visit the Jardines de Alfabia, tricky to find but once you do they are an absolute delight.
Alan & Wendy – June 2017
This was our first trip to Mallorca and it won't be our last. From the first day to the last the islanders have been friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their beautiful island with us. We did too many things to list them individually but loved simply exploring – don't be afraid to get lost, it's often more rewarding. A big thank you to Graham for his excellent tips and local knowledge, and a massive thank you to Margarita for letting us stay in such a fabulous villa, so many personal touches it truly feels like a home from home and not just a holiday let.
Tim & Christine – June 2017
This is the second time that we have stayed in Ca'n Pensit and we loved it just as much as before. The villa is full of rustic charm with outstanding views all round. Set in beautiful countryside and just 15 minutes walk from the village of Caimari, makes for a very peaceful holiday.
Mrs Steward – June 2017
If you want a trouble-free holiday then Simpson Travel has got everything spot on!
Mr Paine – June 2017
Bliss. What a wonderful week and a beautiful place. Everything about Ca'n Pensit is relaxing and it lends itself perfectly to long lazy days of sunshine (and sangria!). We loved the terraces and the barbecue. Thanks to Graham for all the tips and advice – we made good use of lots of them on our expeditions– and to Margarita and Gabriel for looking after us and making us feel so much at home. This really is the perfect spot on the island for peace and tranquillity, and for exploring. We will be back!
Cheryle, Peter, Bea & Harri – May 2017
We have all fallen in love with Ca'n Pensit – this is our second Simpson Travel villa (last year we stayed in a villa in Corsica) and theydid not disappoint at all! We love the home-from-home feel so much our 4-year-old was in tears tonight at bed-time as she doesn't want to leave! The weather has been perfect, some days even reaching 30C+ in early May! The pool has been used lots. A few tips: parking in Sóller town very busy – we found lots of parking in Port-de-Sóller and enjoyed the tram up to the town – take the mountain route back for the more scenic route, and even stop at Lluc on the way. Formentor Beach was our favourite! It's a windy mountain drive (lots of cyclists too) but worth it! Sunday market at Pollença was the nicest. We also went to Sineu market on Wednesday, this was much busier than Pollença and we found it harder to park. We hope everyone who visits C'an Pensit enjoys it as much as we have, the views are breathtaking, we will miss our breakfasts outside under the vine and blue skies. Margarita – you are a truly lovely lady, who our children adored – so nice and welcoming! Muchas gracias. And thank you Graham for all the help and tips. Enjoy everyone!
Claire, Darren, Lucy & Emily – May 2017
Another lazy, relaxing holiday at this wonderful villa. Couldn't be better. Thanks to all who made it happen!
John, Nettie & Debz – May 2017
Beautiful villa, well equipped and lots of shady seating areas.
Tim & Dawn – September 2016
A wonderful week here at the villa, although with temperatures regularly 35C in the day, we haven’t explored as much as we would have wished, instead relished the views and pool here.
David & Issy – September 2016
Relaxing week in a lovely comfortable villa.
Anne & Nick – September 2016
We had a wonderful week at Ca'n Pensit. It really lived up to our expectations. We loved the location with beautiful views of the mountains and we loved the peace and quiet. The villa was well equipped and the pool was lovely. It’s within easy reach of most places on the island and is a beautiful location to return to after a day spent sightseeing or on one of the many beautiful beaches.
Maggie Wright – May 2018
Just what we needed and more – a perfect treat in idyllic surroundings.
Jenny & Roland – September 2016
Will definitely look to use Simpson Travel again!
Mr Parker – August 2016
Many thanks for another excellent holiday!
Mr Paine – June 2016
We loved staying in Ca'n Pensit which felt like an authentic Mallorcan house in the most beautiful (and convenient) part of the island. Perfectly placed for exploring the island and with its multiple terraces, in warm weather Ca'n Pensit offers wonderful all-day, at-home relaxing too!
Miss Mitchell – April 2016
Another fabulous holiday with Simpson Travel with excellent customer service.
Mrs Shaw – October 2015
Ca'n Pensit has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday – terraces for every time of day, great pool, plenty of indoor and outdoor space, friendly owners and a location that means nowhere is more than about an hour's drive away. We loved every minute of our fortnight, not least being able to walk to several very good restaurants, then come back for a midnight swim!
Mrs Allen – September 2015
We were very impressed with the overall standard from the booking stage to the actual holiday. The information and description of the accommodation and area was accurate and the overseas staff helpful and accessible. We would highly recommend Simpson Travel.
Mr Robinson – May 2015
Ca'n Pensit was the perfect introduction to Mallorca. A pretty, characterful and quirky Mallorcan house, with lovely views of the mountains, olive groves and nearby villages. The pool was a pleasure to swim in, any time of day, even by moonlight, and several lovely spots to eat outside and enjoy the views. Would love to return one day.
Mrs Broadbent – September 2014
The villa is beautiful, very rural and peaceful (albeit with the sheep bells tinkling in the background). It's a good 20-minute walk into Selva and 15 into Caimari, both having a couple of good restaurants. All so peaceful and relaxing and great to have the three patios in the villa to sit out on for breakfast, lunch or to relax in the evening. Would love to stay there again.
Miss Winter – July 2014
This was our first visit to Mallorca. We were delighted with our accommodation, especially the terraces, gardens and views. The villa itself is charming and we were happy to spend days there, just relaxing. However, we did explore the region including a drive over the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range to Deià and a visit and wine tasting at Mosquida Mora vineyards. Inca market is excellent. Roads very good. Finally we had an outstanding meal at Micelli in Selva. Mallorca is a very beautiful island and we had a memorable holiday. Thank you once again Simpson Travel.
Mr Johnson – May 2014
We have had two delightful weeks here in Ca'n Pensit. This is our first visit to Mallorca and we have had a wonderful time.
Mr Steward – May 2014
For a peaceful holiday in a spectacular scenic area with stunning views and all the tranquillity you could wish for – this was definitely for us.
Mr Clarke – October 2013
We loved this delightful quirky villa and loved the rural setting. Plenty of walks to nearby villages surrounded by orchards and only the noise of sheep and cockerels to keep us company. Not too far from Pollença or Puerto Pollença if we wanted a bit of action but it was always lovely to come back to some peace and quiet. Will definitely come back.
Mrs Perrin – September 2013
The house is lovely and we spent a lot of time in the much-needed pool! The outdoor seating areas cater for both sun and shade at any time of day. Brian, Margarita and Gabriel are all extremely friendly and helpful.
The Wood Family – July 2013
The outside space is exceptional and no matter what the weather, there is somewhere to sit. The weather has not been very consistent and we have experienced rain, cloud and so hot it was unbelievable. So quite a mixed bag but it didn't detract from us having a fab time. We went to Deià and along the mountain roads with great views. A lot of the time just had lazy days in the villa, drinking lovely wine and having great food. Brian was a star and helped us on a couple of occasions, so reassuring to know he is at the end of a telephone.
Mr Brown & Miss Hussein – June 2013
From the cold, damp and dreary UK to the sunshine, blue skies and warmth of Mallorca – how wonderful! And then to find Ca'n Pensit in all its glory – how idyllic. We so enjoyed our week's stay here. All our needs were met in this beautiful home and garden. Compared to some visitors we had a very lazy holiday, sunbathing, swimming and eating delicious lunches on the porch – so many nooks and crannies in which to sit was great as we never felt on top of each other.
Mrs Coote – May 2013
Your service was faultless, the villa was simply stunning, the location very beautiful, the locality full of interest. What more could one want?
Miss Huxley – May 2013
Had a wonderfully restful week despite poor weather at the start. Enjoyed Alcúdia and Sóller – good choice of tapas bars for lunch. Went to Palma on the train, the cathedral is fantastic, one of the first we've seen that compares to the best in England. Markets in Sineu and Inca are both very good. Many thanks to Brian for his assistance and Margarita for providing such a lovely holiday destination.
Mr and Mrs Bridge – April 2013
Simpson Travel has done it again. They always deliver a quality and care-free holiday.
Mr Halstead – April 2013
Our choice of Mallorquín properties is as diverse as the island itself, ranging from simple seaside charm to comfortable and stylish. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal.
To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.
* For further clarification on Facilities and Amenities, please view the 'Details' tab for each property or speak to one of our experienced sales consultants.
For centuries an inspiration for writers and painters, Pollença continues to capture the imagination and makes the perfect Mallorca holiday destination. The town square, with its array of bars and restaurants, is at the heart of town, while the Chapel El Calvari’s hilltop location offers stunning panoramic views and beautiful 13th- century artefacts. Just 7km from the town is Puerto Pollença whose sandy beach boasts crystal clear waters, watersports and the relaxing Pine Walk along the seafront.
To complete the picture of your luxury holiday in Pollença and Puerto Pollença, we offer a selection of handpicked villas and a delightful 'agroturisme' hotel, an inspiring blend of old and new for families and couples alike.
