Walking holidays in Corfu 

Hilary Whitton Paipeti is an aficionado of Corfu. She has been an island resident since 1981 and, as well as establishing the classic Corfu Trail, she is the author of several walking guidebooks, edits 'The Corfiot Magazine' and is an authority on Lawrence and Gerald Durrell. Hilary’s walks follow ancient footpaths off the beaten track, traversing mountainsides, swimming off little-known beaches and visiting abandoned villages, finishing with a wholesome picnic or a traditional taverna lunch.  Accommodation is at the beautifully restored Rou Estate.  

 

What to expect on the guided tour

Our aim is to present a truly inspirational break for small, select groups of 6-8 guests in a relaxed and informal environment.  This is an easy to moderate holiday, well within the capabilities of those who enjoy regular walks. Departure dates, prices and booking

Our walking holidays in Corfu take place 12-19 May and 13-20 October and cost £1,245pp.  Included in the cost of your holiday is:

  • Full board (picnics, taverna lunches and daily transport as required)
  • Accommodation at The Rou Estate (no single supplement)
  • Single travellers (same sex) will share a house with their own private bathroom
  • Return flights and transfers
  • 5 half days’ guided walking (2.5 - 5hrs walking/day)
