Charming Ca’n Sonia is both spacious and very secluded, cocooned in private grounds in the lee of the Tramuntana mountain range that runs the length of the island from southwest to northeast. It’s an idyllic retreat for a family or a group of friends, with lots of play space for little ones, yet just a five-minute drive to Cala San Vicente, with its four picture-perfect beaches and dazzling turquoise sea. 

The house is surrounded by pretty countryside, and with terraces to both the front and the rear you can always find your perfect spot to read or simply relax in the sun or the shade. Another huge plus is the way all the bedrooms and the living areas open directly to the outside, so the entire villa feels bright and airy with that welcoming, barefoot vibe that puts you straight into holiday mode the moment you arrive. For hassle-free family meals there’s a big traditional-style barbecue and shady dining terrace where you can also keep a watchful eye on the kids in the nine-metre swimming pool, plus a table tennis table for hours of screen-free entertainment. Ideal as a family base in the high season, Ca’n Sonia puts you within very easy reach of Cala San Vicente and the kilometre-long sweep of fine sand at Puerto Pollença, where you’ll also find lots of beachside restaurants and plenty of shops. In the slightly cooler months, it’s an inspired choice for anyone keen to make the most of the region’s stunning walking and cycling routes, from easy coastal paths to more challenging mountain hikes, not forgetting of course the fabulous foodie delights of old Pollença town.
