One of the joys of Paxos is following the many winding lanes leading through dappled terraces and peaceful olive groves to wonderful vantage points looking out to sea. At the end of one such lane you’ll find Kallista House, an elegant dry-stone villa with a sparkling pool and views of the deep blue Ionian Sea beyond.
Kallista's glorious sea views are mainly thanks to its slightly elevated position, surrounded by cypress, fruit and olive trees. The villa changed hands recently and the new owners have set out to make the outdoor space as comfortably appealing as the stylish interiors, adding a new summer kitchen for al fresco cooking and wooden decking to extend your relaxing space around the pool, making this one of the finest places on Paxos to enjoy a spectacular Ionian sunset.

We simply loved our stay at Kallista House. Our second time travelling with Simpson in Greece and yet again we were surprised and joyful as we were provided with another picturesque villa! The walk to the bakery isn't too long and is pleasant as you see some nice sea views. Don't go after 10am as it is too hot. It's a great idea to rent out a boat for the day. Anti-Paxos is amazing and along the West coast of Paxos you'll find some stunning caves. Finally we'd just like to mention how grateful and blessed to accommodated such a lovely villa with such a nice pool and rooms for the week. Thank you.
This was our first trip to Paxos and we absolutely loved it. Villa Kallista is gorgeous, stylish and comfortable house and we couldn't have been more happier here. A week is too short and we have to come back. Such a beautiful place.
Lily our rep was brilliant, our son became unwell with severe food poisoning and she couldn’t have been more helpful and kinder to us all. She really is a true star. Frances in the office was also incredibly kind, helpful and efficient, rebooking transfers and finding extra accommodation when we needed. Couldn’t recommend Simpson more. 5 star service
It was our first time in Paxos, and we couldn’t be happier with our blissful week on the island! We took the Blue Caves tour from Gaios over to Anti Paxos and the water is crystal clear! Everyone on the island has been so lovely and we are very grateful to Simpson Travel for making a holiday the perfect escape from reality.
Kallista is a wonderful villa in a beautiful location. We have loved sitting on the terrace, watching the sunset. Magazia is a great base for exploring the island. Looking forward to returning in the future.
We had an amazing week at Kallista House. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish with all the connections and transfers and Lilly went out of her way to help us with anything we needed during our stay. It was reassuring to have her there on the island! Some of our best meals were had in the local tavernas which were in walking distance, as was the superb bakery! It was easy to get to all three towns by car so we didn’t feel cut off and it was great to be able to get to the water so quickly to hire boats or to swim. We will definitely be re-booking Kallista again!
From start to finish this has been a blissfully smooth holiday. Every step of the way we found a friendly, generous Simpson rep to help us – in particular thank you so much to Lili who helped us to navigate the road to Kallista and gave us support throughout! The pool has been a highlight and the house is spotless and luxurious. The boat trip day was as easy as we ever imagined, we hired from Loggos and everyone there was incredibly jolly and friendly – nothing was too big of a task. One of our favourite holidays ever. We’ll be back soon.
Loved this villa- so much so we put a deposit down for next year before we left!
We've had an amazing time in Paxos yet again, and loved the beaches, walks and restaurants. Kallista was the perfect location for our holiday.
We've travelled with Simpson's before and we returned because of the overall quality and attention to detail. There are cheaper holidays, including villas, but, for us, the reliable quality, car hire and the resources in the villas are second to none. Knowing that the villas will be clean, well appointed, in good condition, beautifully decorated, with beach towels, sharp knives, etc. etc. and the company staff will be helpful, available, yet unobtrusive are enough for us to return.
Wonderful holiday in Paxos (Kallista House) and Corfu (Villa Klymene) – thank you Simpson Travel! Pre-departure service was exemplary (as usual!) and the services of the local concierges were also wonderful. This is what makes the difference: knowing that any last minute issues will be resolved efficiently and effectively in these Covid times really does count. We had a superb holiday and loved both villas: Villa Klymene in Corfu was truly outstanding! Thank you and we look forward to travelling with Simpson Travel again in the near future.
Our first time in Paxos and we have fallen in love. Meals all over the island and empty beaches with crystal clear water. Thank you so much for giving us a week of sun and relaxation.
We had a fantastic time in Kallista House. The pool was amazing, the view was lovely and we loved the outdoor sitting areas. Julie, the rep, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
We have so enjoyed our visit to Kallista House. Our welcome visit from Julie gave us so much useful information. We loved the pool and eating our meals on both outdoor tables. The welcome pack was perfect when we arrived – tired, hungry and thirsty!
Our fourth visit to Paxos – our first to Kallista House. After the long journey from London, the Simpson Travel ladies at both Corfu and Paxos smoothed the last lap. This is a lovely villa, perfectly placed for all parts of the island.
Thank you, Kallista House! A welcome, comfortable and relaxing week in charming Kallista House. We very much enjoyed the spacious pool area and lots of shade under the parasols – cool outdoor kitchen area to read and superb views from the balcony terrace, especially at sunset! Cool bedrooms with crisp linen – perfect. We loved our Captain Nikos hire boat trip from Loggos around the island, particularly swimming around the caves and were blessed with a late holiday water taxi trip to Anti Paxos where we spent a surprisingly uncrowded day on a sandy beach and a pleasant beach bar lunch. We love you, Paxos – we hope to revisit.
Our second visit to Paxos and this villa was an extremely pleasant surprise, apart from the spectacular view, the pool, the terrace and the garden it is very well equipped! We had forgotten about Simpson Travel’s welcome gift in the fridge and this was so welcome after a long journey from London. Julie was efficient and very helpful with reliable and useful suggestions. Our highlights were probably the visit to Panagia on 15 August for the celebration in the monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, eating at Erimitis Sunset Bar while watching the sun set spectacularly – maybe the best Greek food we’ve eaten on our many trips and pottering around on the beaches. Our favourite beaches were Levrechio and Mamaris. The food at the restaurant on Levrechio beach was also good. Oh! And the beds and the clean linen! What luxury!
We had the most blissful two weeks here! Such a gorgeous villa in a perfect location – we loved every minute of our holiday. Especially wonderful having such comfortable beds and beautiful linens, great bathrooms and the villa and the pool cleaned regularly – like staying in a stunning boutique hotel all to ourselves! Great to be able to explore Paxos – the fantastic beaches, pretty fishing villages and loved the pool and amazing views from the villa, especially sitting on the terrace and watching the sunset. One of our best holidays ever and we hope to return again soon. Our first holiday with Simpson Travel and we were very impressed! The reps in Paxos and on our arrival in Corfu couldn’t have been more charming and helpful. Thank you so much.
Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.

Barely eight miles from tip to tail, Paxos is pint-sized perfection. The only way to get here is by boat from Corfu, which rules out mass development and makes room for a true luxury villa holiday experience. Beloved by the boating crowd, there's a definite buzz in the main summer months and an excellent choice of restaurants that cater for visiting flotilla.
There are few better ways of relaxing than on a luxury holiday in Paxos, where days fill up beautifully with sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and dining in style, the sea just metres from your table. Amble through ancient olive groves and you’ll catch glimpses of startlingly turquoise bays, the dramatic west-coast cliffs or the Epiros Mountains. In spring, there’s also a haze of purple honesty, wild irises and lilies and a sky that’s alive with birdlife, from hawks to skylarks.
Complete the picture with a stay in one of our handpicked luxury villas or our unique Adult Only Simpson Hotels and make the most of this peaceful island.
