Corfu’s north eastern coastline is one of the most enduringly lovely in the whole of Greece, little changed since Gerald Durrell first wrote about his family holidays. Gleaming, white-pebble coves shelter sleek super-yachts, discreetly opulent villas dot the hillsides and steep, olive-clad slopes plunge into a sea so blue that it defines all others. Our favourite place here is Agios Stephanos, without question one of the most sought-after villages in Corfu, and an idyllic place to rediscover the simple pleasures in life. Days can be whiled away here and at nearby beautiful Kerasia Beach, or better still, puttering along the coast in a small motor boat discovering tiny deserted bays for a delightful private picnic or swim.
Standing sentry-like on the hillside, barely five minutes’ drive from Agios Stephanos, is Emily's House. The architects plainly had fun with this building, creating a castle-like structure complete with crenulated tower. Hidden in the tower is the master bedroom, with its own sunbathing terrace and magnificent, 360 degree views. Lofty, beamed ceilings, wrought iron beds and a grand sweep of a staircase echo the castle style. Outside there is a large infinity pool surrounded by secluded gardens; your own private fiefdom in a truly privileged position.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Emily's House - a perfect location for 2 couples in their 60s. We loved waking up to the amazing views and having breakfast on the terrace - which sometimes went on for 2 hours. Jackie arranged for George and his water taxi to take us to Corfu Town one day, plus she recommended and booked several meals out for us. There are several circuit walks to do and it only takes 30 minutes to walk into Agios Stephanos or down to Avlaki Beach.

Lovely relaxing week at Emily’s House as a multi-generational group aged from 2-85 years. Kalamaki beach is perfect for a toddler – lovely sand, shallow warm water with easy parking and plenty of sunbeds. We enjoyed Corfu Town and the local supermarket is very well stocked. Thanks, Jackie, for all your help.
Emily's villa is very peaceful in an elevated position with wonderful views of the sea and Albania. The villa was spacious and comfortable and the garden very pretty with lovely shrubs, flowers and even a lawn. It worked really well for our multi-generational group with lots of shade for babies and comfortable garden seats for elderly gentlemen. We have stayed in many Simpson villas over the years,all have been good but Emily's villa is definitely one of our favourites.
Another absolute gem of a property from Simpson Travel. Having previously stayed at the Rou Estate, we weren't sure how Emily's would compare. We were certainly NOT disappointed. Emily's House is in a glorious location, the views from the pool area and roof terrace are fantastic. The house is spacious and airy with everything needed for a relaxing stay. A short drive takes you to San Stefano which hosts several lovely tavernas. Hiring a speed boat for trips up and down the coast certainly added to the adventure. Special thanks to Jackie who was always available to answer question and make recommendations.

We stayed at Villa Emily and simply had the most wonderful time. Super villa with the most beautiful pools with an outstanding view of the sea, very comfortable pools chairs and recliners, and great barbecue. The perfect setting to set out from to explore the north-east corner of corfu, the wonderful Taverners, great sea swimming, boating and walking. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday. This was our fifth Simpsons holiday and we will be returning again and again. Thank you to all at Simpsons.
A lovely stay with Simpson Travel again – returning to an area we know and love. Jackie and the Simpson team were extremely supportive and assisted where needed. The villa allowed us the freedom to come and go, enjoying the pool and facilities without feeling claustrophobic. Fantastic meals at local tavernas with gins and tonic watching the boats come and go. Fantastic villa for our family holiday to celebrate milestone birthdays – a real WOW factor! Plenty of seating options and amazing pool to entertain the teenagers. Location is ideal to explore the local area, but we didn’t want to venture too far, but worth a visit is Old Perithia, Corfu Town, and hiring a boat. Yannis Deli, at the top of the road, is very well stocked with local produce and we especially enjoyed the natural yoghurt, honey, hummus and wine! Pagnita next door is a brilliant option for evening takeout meals plus morning croissants. Jackie was excellent in responding to our trivial questions by text and e-mail – thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed, worth every effort with PCRs/PLFs, etc.
Super week at Emily’s House! Action packed week (thanks to Jackie’s recommendations) included a visit to Old Perithia, boat hire (caves and cliff jumping), evening Corfu Town visit, outstanding mountain bike tour, Aqualand (couldn’t avoid it, but more pleasant than expected!). And we loved the house. Jackie immediately sorted initial issues.
A holiday worth battling with layer upon layer of testing and PLFs and more testing at home! Beautiful pool, amazing views, glorious weather. We didn’t do much exploring as we have been to this lovely corner of Corfu before, plus is was just too hot, but a very relaxing time was had by all and some very nice meals at Cavo Barbero (Avlaki), Eucalyptus (San Stefanos) and Agni Taverna by boat. Don’t miss the delicious croissants, pains au raisin and coffee at Pignata Patisserie at the top of the road. Their ice cream is delicious too.
Such a relaxing and peaceful spot, gorgeous pool and views. Boat hire for the week was a bonus and visiting all the delicious restaurants a treat. Thank you – a much-needed break!
We have just returned from another fabulous holiday arranged with Simpson Travel. Our hill-top hideaway at Emily's House was a dream location overlooking the bay near San Stefanos on the North East Coast, with Albania in the distance. On arrival and departure we were greeted by Simpson's reassuring staff. Jackie, our representative, was helpful in arranging boat hire and on call if we had any questions. We had no issues with the lovely villa, which was in a quiet location, a lovely pool, and only five minutes to San Stefanos. We will use Simpson Travel again!
We are so very glad that we ran the gauntlet of amber countries and came back to Corfu! Fabulous two weeks here at Emily’s House. Total privacy, a lovely pool and amazing views. Highlights included hiring a motorboat and finding beautiful bays to snorkel and swim in, plus a trip to Perithia and meals out in Avlaki. Everything you need is at the supermarket. Thank you Simpson (and Jackie) for a lovely time.
What can I say? Great villa, great location, clean, fully equipped, ideal for any family. Jackie was very helpful, always on hand if needed.
Emily’s House was much more peaceful than I expected – less road noise perhaps. Corfu’s bounteous fruits were at their best – grapes, figs, nectarines. I enjoyed the tiny geckos and the green and bronze grasshoppers, as well as the huge number of tiny lizards. We had Corfu’s normal gamut of hot sun, torrential rain and spectacular thunderstorms, but only once did we decide it was better to eat at the villa than visit a taverna because of the rain. Another enjoyable holiday in Corfu, made easy by Simpson Travel.
A very relaxing week at Emily’s House. Very well equipped villa and convenient for meals out/supermarket at Stan Stephanos. Recommend Sakis at Kalami for water skiing, water taxi to Agni Taverna, Gallini, Kochili, Eucalyptus. Hiring a boat to travel up and down the beautiful coastline. Homemade ice cream from Pignata plus delicious cakes. Minor issues sorted by Jackie – thank you.

Another wonderful Simpson holiday! Emily’s House has been perfect for our family. Beautiful views and enjoying relaxing by the pool. We have fallen in love with Corfu and hope to be back next year.
We’ve spend the last 10 years visiting Corsica (with Simpson) and came here to Corfu for a change. We’ve had a fabulous week doing not very much – the villa is sensational, pool wonderful. We tried all the restaurants and all the locals are lovely and friendly. Jacki was worth a big gold medal.
We loved our stay at Emily’ House. The house is beautiful with the lovely turret and the pool is stunning. There are so many lovely beaches and the water is crystal clear! We loved seeing the church from The Durrells. We also loved the shops in Corfu Town.

This was our fourth visit to the island. Emily’s House is a lovely villa, well stocked and with a great terrace and pool. Jackie, the Simpson Travel representative, was so helpful with restaurant bookings, boating reservations and best of all, water taxis to Agni. The villa has a good layout and great barbecue and we recommend a glass of rosé on the turret at sunset. Gorgeous.

I had a truly fantastic fortnight. Emily’s House is perfect for family fun in the sun. The water taxi to Corfu town is worth taking. Biking down the mountain was an experience we’ll not forget. The views were stunning and the church at the top beautifully ornate. The local tavernas are excellent and we ate very well indeed. A wonderfully relaxing holiday.
We really had a wonderful sunny rest for two weeks. Emily’s House was the perfect base for us. I was interested in the variety of flora and fauna and enjoyed reading ‘The Corfu Trail’. Snorkelling in the lovely warm sea was brilliant – a late in life discovery for me and I loved it!
I really enjoyed my stay at Emily’s House. The views were fantastic and I made some art out of it. Corfu is really green and San Stefanos, Kassiopi and the waterpark were great. They have lovely food here and the waiters and waitresses were very nice. We went out on a boat for three days and there were some beautiful snorkelling places and lots of caves. I would definitely come back here!
My stay at Emily’s House has been quite exquisite and it is quite frankly one of the best villas I have laid my eyes on. Despite it being magnificent, you should spend most of your time outside as there are many glorious areas to visit. For starters, Agios Stefanos is right around the corner with many restaurants that will sensate your taste buds with Greek cuisine. For thrills and exploration, I advise you to go to Aqua Park and get a bike tour in the mountains.
I really enjoyed my stay at Emily’s House. We had lots of fun on our boat that we hired from San Stefano. We dived off the front of the boat a few times and then we went snorkelling. There are loads of lovely restaurants nearby. I have very high hopes that everyone in my family would love to come here again.

The water taxi to Corfu Town was worth booking – the architecture and atmosphere was an experience. We had a wonderful week at Emily’s House with the hottest weather and most magical of days on the water. Jackie, the Simpson Travel representative, was exceptionally attentive and diligent arranging paddle boards, and dining experiences with water taxis. Everywhere gave us amazing sea food and delicious wines. We loved being so centrally located and really enjoyed San Stefano. We loved eating outside and found the kitchen and barbecue area extremely well equipped.
What a wonderful week! Our first visit to Corfu was brilliant. It started with meeting Jackie, our Simpson Travel representative, at the airport and her guiding us in the dark to Emily’s House. It is just as gorgeous at night as the beautiful sunny views on waking in the morning. We spent so many lovely hours beside the pool. All the recommendations on where to eat were great – we didn’t know how delicious Greek food could be. Our highlight was a day on a boat with a great skipper – it was amazing to jump out of the boat into pristine waters along the coast when we stopped. We couldn’t have enjoyed out week more.
This is our second visit to this amazing villa, very well-equipped with all that you need, a very appreciated welcome basket of goodies to start us off! So the rest by the pool was well received, stunning views from the villa and pool and we were lucky enough to catch a couple of stunning sunsets over Albania.
