Villa Sultan’s position within a short walk to Kalkan’s attractions and just above the charming Palm Beach Club is likely to entice both newcomers and regular visitors to this wonderful resort.

We are again indebted to Simpson Travel for another truly fabulous family holiday (first one in Villa Sultan). It is everything our family holiday desires – a beautiful villa with panoramic views, which take our breath away at every glance, so much space and grounds, we’re never on top of each other. The 5-minute amble into town is ideal as we love to explore the enticing shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants and markets, without having to rely on taxis. The terrace at Palm Beach Club is perfect – as are the lazy lunches and smiley staff. Breakfast on the villa terrace with freshly delivered bread, local honey, fruit and coffee was perfect and we could eat at our leisure, much to the likes of our late-rising teenagers. We would enjoy an early swim or some of our own workouts whilst waiting for them to rise. The gulet trip was again the highlight of our week, not to mention the hammam at the Kalkan Regency. Patara ruins are beautiful – just avoid the middle of the day. We have savoured every delicious meal recommended and booked by the wonderful Kay. Her help has made the whole holiday seamless, thank you. The best place, however, was the villa pool – watching the sunset or listening to the ‘call to prayer’ from the local mosques, whilst watching all the boats return. We will be back and have absolutely no doubts in booking either villa again – because of the Turkish charm and attention to detail and also the fantastic service and care offered by Simpson Travel.
A great week away with the family. Another fab Villa with great outdoor space, lovely pool and stunning sea views. Just above Palm Beachclub and walking distance to all the restaurants. We had beer o’clock every night on the terrace with a beautiful sunset.
This was our 2nd time at this amazing villa. Perfectly placed for a lazy day watching the ships come in and out, strolling 2 minutes to the Palm Beach club for a drink or lunch, and just a gentle 15 minute walk into Kalkan's beautiful harbour and roof top restaurants. A perfect holiday..

Villa Sultan and Kalkan really are the best. The view from the villa is out of this world and it’s located so close to the town. The service from Simpson and our rep Zeze was phenomenal. We went on the boat trip organised by Simpson which was such a great day. Zeze was super helpful throughout our stay and always available. Simpson really are the best tour operator and they think of every detail. We can’t wait to return with Simpson back to Kalkan and villa Sultan.

What a fantastic place to stay- amazing views of the town, near enough to walk in but far enough to be 'away from it all'. The day trip on the gules was absolutely wonderful- fantastic food and drink and the staff on the boat were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the hamam trip too. Overall a great place to spend a week's holiday- lots to do but also a wonderful place to relax.
The villa was excellent and in a convenient short walk or taxi ride to the beach and central Kalkan with all of its amenities. The Simpson’s concierge Zeze was excellent, always available if needed and proved to be very helpful and efficient. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, and convenient villa stay close to Kalkan then would highly recommend Villa Sultan.
We have had a fantastic week at Villa Sultan. The villa is in an excellent position – two minutes from Palm Beach Club and a 10-minute walk into town via a track. Views are fantastic. Kalkan is a lovely place to visit and I look forward to coming back some day. Simpson Travel have been amazing.
It was our first time travelling with Simpson and I have to say we were unbelievably impressed with the service from start to finish. They literally think of everything from all the information before you travel, to the welcome packs and the in-resort support from Kitty, the concierge. The villa views were out of this world and in the current Covid-19 climate it was a welcome break to escape normality to a little bit of tranquillity and spectacular views. Kalkan itself is an amazing destination, with some fantastic rooftop bars with views across the harbour and restaurants serving incredible fish and local cuisine. We also used the Palm Beach club and the Hammam which were both great. The whole experience has been fantastic and we cannot recommend Simpson highly enough. We will be back next year and definitely be back to Kalkan.

We leave tomorrow with sad faces, but the most wonderful memories from our time here. We have been extremely lucky to have enjoyed two fantastic weeks at Villa Sultan, it’s been everything we could have wished for. To be able to relax by your own pool with such tremendous views is unforgettable. Olivia has been a star – so knowledgeable about the local area, restaurants, taxis, shopping and days out. She even managed to locate missing ‘fudge’ that got swept away with the laundry and was returned the next day to the amazement of my daughter. She organised a day for us on the gullet ‘Poseidon’ which was a highlight and a relaxing morning at The Kalkan Regency spa having a Hamam – all of us together! Bulent has been very helpful, bringing fresh bread every morning, fixing a minor water problem within an hour and keeping everything outside looking perfect. We have had a delivery of squeezed orange juice every morning from Fatih, not to mention many other supplies including fresh fruit for breakfast. We have eaten out nearly every evening, our firm favourite was ‘Aubergine’, but we have never experienced a poor meal. ‘Belgin’s Kitchen’ was a treat, experiencing a Turkish style dinner and the menu and service at ‘Korsan Fish Terrace’ was exceptional. We loved our morning visiting the ruins at Parata. The beach was just beautiful, but a bit too busy for our liking. We preferred the pebble beach in Kalkan and visiting Palm Beach for dips in the sea and turtle spotting! Aristos Watersports took us on an exhilarating ride on an inflatable sofa, and we tried paddle boarding with them too.
Excellent villa and beautifully coordinated in resort. Perfect organisation at the airport/car hire, etc. Really liked your offer and will definitely be trying to book with Simpson Travel again.

A great week in a superb villa! Sultan has two key winning points – an astonishing, world class sea view and walk-able to Kalkan. These alone would be enough to want to stay here, but then add the Beach Club hospitality, watersports, bread deliveries, good wi-fi, great pool and good facilities which all makes for a fantastic holiday. Vicki from Simpson Travel was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. More like a helpful friend with great local knowledge.

The whole experience from start to finish was so well organised, and the friendliness and experience of the staff were superb. Everything from research, to booking, to paperwork, to travel, to car hire, to the villa itself and the experience in Turkey were just excellent. This is the second holiday we have booked through Simpson Travel and it was fabulous. Exactly what we had asked for, a family holiday with a good location close to amenities and the sea. The flight times were good and on time. The reps on the ground have all the local information and advice on where to visit according to your tastes. All in all it was a great experience.
We have enjoyed our stay in Kalkan immensely. The views are spectacular, the weather has been gorgeous. We enjoyed all the restaurants and the bars by the water are lovely. We will definitely come back to this wonderful, beautiful place.

Villa Sultan was the perfect location for our last week in Turkey. It provided us with the choice of being busy sightseeing or relaxing around the pool or at the beach as we wished. The town of Kalkan is a very special place on the Turkish Riviera and we didn't want to leave.
The staff both at Head Office and in the resort were knowledgeable, polite and efficient. The villa was of a very good standard and well positioned. We would be happy to recommend Simpson Travel to friends and family.
