Scheduled flights BA: British Airways, operated by Easy Jet. AT: Royal Air Moroc
‘No frills flights’ AT/8A: Atlas Blue (code share with Royal Air Maroc). FR: Ryanair TOM: Thomsonfly
Royal Air Maroc (AT) * Flights from Heathrow to Marrakech are via Casablanca with either a 40 minutes touch down or a change of an aircraft. † via Casablanca with a change of an aircraft.
We are pleased to offer our guests the flexibility of flights from a number of UK airports, using scheduled and ’no-frills’ airlines, as we do not pre-purchase restrictive chartered seats in advance. Please let us know which airport(s) you would prefer to fly from and we will endeavour to find the most convenient flights for you.
Scheduled flights
All our holidays include flights using the scheduled services of British Airways (BA) and Royal Air Maroc (RAM). Please note that the times shown opposite are local times and are correct at time of going to press but may be subject to change. All our flights are designated as non-smoking. All timings may be subject to change, so the most up-to-date timings will be confirmed to you at the time of booking.
There is a minimum of a 2 nights stay unless a Saturday night is included with both airlines.
Prices are based on our lowest contracted fare, but once these fares are sold out, we may be able to offer extra seats at an additional supplement that will be advised to you at the time of booking. In some cases, we may have to book, pay for and ‘ticket’ all flights at the time of booking. In this event, we will ask you to pay an increased deposit to cover the cost of the flight in addition to the £125 per person deposit. The exact amount will be quoted to you at the time of booking and this payment will be non-refundable.
Marrakech: prices include travel from Gatwick direct to Marrakech on selected days of the week on the scheduled flights of British Airways* or Royal Air Maroc**. Additional flight supplements may apply on certain dates.
There are also daily flights from Heathrow to Marrakech (via Casablanca by RAM) and additional direct flights on selected days of the week (non-stop departures on both airlines with the occasional touchdown en route). For travel from Heathrow, flight supplements apply for both airlines.
Fès: British Airways* operates a twice weekly direct service from Heathrow to Fès via Marrakech on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Royal Air Maroc operates a daily service from Heathrow via Casablanca to Fès.
Two-centre holidays Fès and Marrakech: The twice weekly BA service allows you to easily combine a stay in both cities. You can fly from Heathrow to Fès on Tuesdays and Fridays and stay there 3 or 4 nights, and then continue your journey by air from Fès onto Marrakech for a few nights, before flying back from Marrakech directly to the UK
Agadir: British Airways* operate a twice weekly direct service from Gatwick to Agadir. Royal Air Maroc operate a daily service from Heathrow via Casablanca to Agadir.
Casablanca: both British Airways* and Royal Air Maroc operate daily services from Heathrow direct to Casablanca.
Tangier: Royal Air Maroc operates a twice-weekly direct service from Heathrow to Tangier.
Ouarzazate: Royal Air Maroc operates a daily service from Heathrow via Casablanca to Ouarzazate. *Flights operated by Easy Jet ** Flights operated by Atlas Blue (the ‘low cost – no frills’ subsidiary of Royal Air Maroc)
‘No frills’ flights
On some occasions we may be able to offer the new ‘no frills’ flights to Marrakech, Agadir and Fès operated by Ryanair, Easyjet and Thomsonfly.
They do not usually offer the same comfort as the scheduled airlines but can sometimes be a cost effective way of travelling to Morocco, especially when booked well in advance. However, you will be required to pay for these tickets in full at the time of booking, in addition to your deposit. The exact amount will be quoted to you at the time of booking and this payment will be non-refundable.
In order to obtain the cheapest flights it is advisable to book well in advance and not at peak dates, when flight supplements may apply.
Please note that some airlines allocate seats at check-in whilst others such as Easyjet, offer ‘free seating’ i.e. first passengers to board the aircraft get the best choice of seats. Please check with us at the time of booking if you have any concerns in this respect. Luggage allowances vary, and some airlines now ask you to pre-book your luggage at the time of reservation. Furthermore, meals are
not provided but snacks and drinks can usually be purchased on board.
‘No frills’ airlines supplements/reductions We will advise you at the time of booking if any supplements apply for flights operated by Ryanair, Easyjet and Thomsonfly.
|
Special Promotional Offers: up to £55 reduction flying with British Airways* and Royal Air Maroc
Our flights are based on specially negotiated fares with the above scheduled airlines at the beginning of each year. Occasionally the airlines may introduce lower promotional fares at discounted prices, which we will gladly pass onto you when available. Please check at the time of booking.

General Flight Information
Flight supplements Please note that our holiday prices include flights based on our specially negotiated rates. If seats in this class are not available, we may be able to offer you seats in an alternative class, subject to a supplement.
Supplements will always be confirmed to you before we book the flights. As a rule of thumb, the later the flight is booked, the higher the price. Therefore, those booking earlier will secure the best flight prices and have the best choice of flight availability.
Final flight timings will be confirmed with your travel documents, which will be sent to you two weeks prior to departure.
Please check these documents carefully upon receipt and advise us immediately of any discrepancies.
Connecting regional flights from your local airport
We are pleased to offer special add-on supplements for connecting flights via Heathrow and Gatwick to Morocco from many UK regional airports. These are all subject to availability and the flight supplements will be confirmed to you at the time of booking.
Connecting with British Airways flights to Morocco: BA operates regional flights from Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Isle of Man, Jersey, Manchester and Newcastle to London connecting with BA/Easy Jet flights to Morocco.
Connecting with Royal Air Maroc flights to Morocco: British Midland operates regional flights from Glasgow, Leeds/Teeside, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin via London connecting with Royal Air Maroc flights to Morocco.
If you prefer to book your regional flights independently, then please allow ample time to collect your luggage and check-in for your onward flight, bearing in mind there may be delays.
Scheduled flight upgrades Those passengers for whom space and comfort is a priority, we recommend upgrading to the superior services offered by the scheduled carriers in the Club Europe cabin on British Airways flights (operated by GB) and in the Zenith Class cabin on Royal Air Maroc. You will also enjoy a dedicated check-in desk, use of VIP lounges at some airports, increased baggage allowance, wider seats and superior meals and drinks. We can offer competitive fares on both airlines - please ring for a quote.
These specially negotiated Club Class fares are subject to availability and the applicable supplement will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please note that although the services provided are identical to a fullprice Club class ticket, they are non-changeable and non-refundable once booked. Prices for Club Class upgrades start at £295 per person by British Airways.
Name changes The name shown on a ticket must exactly match the name of the passenger travelling, as it appears in his/her passport (first full name and surname). If not, you may be refused boarding and have to purchase a new ticket for your journey, so please ensure that you give us the correct names of all passengers at the time of booking. Once your flights have been booked, it is not usually possible to make name changes without incurring charges, sometimes the full price of a new ticket. If there are any errors on your invoice or your flight tickets, please inform us immediately.
Change of flight times Our brochures are compiled many months before airline schedules are finalised, and the flight timings shown are correct at the time of going to print. However, all airlines reserve the right to amend their flying schedules prior to departure. We will always advise you of any significant changes as soon as the airline (or their agents) notify us. The most up to date times will always be shown on your itinerary, sent out with your tickets at least two weeks before your departure. Please check these documents carefully upon receipt and advise us immediately of any discrepancies.
In-flight meals and special diets If the airline you are travelling with offers free in-flight meals, requests for special meals (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, kosher) should be made at the time of booking. Regretfully we cannot request special meals less than 7 days prior to departure. Whilst we will always pass your request onto the airline, we are, unable to guarantee supply. Charges may apply and we will confirm these to you at the time of booking. For peace of mind, we recommend that you reconfirm your special in-flight meal request at check in. Please note, if you are travelling with a ‘no-frills’ airline, meals
Luggage allowance The scheduled airlines allow 23kg of luggage per person – excluding infants, but some airlines offer 20kg or less (especially ‘no-frills’ airlines, who often ask you to prebook your luggage allowance at the time of reservation). This will be confirmed to you either at the time of booking or when your tickets are sent out. In all cases the amount of luggage is strictly controlled and excess luggage charges are made direct to the airline of handling agent before passengers are issued their boarding passes. If you wish to check-in any bulky items (for example bicycles, golf clubs or surf gear), please inform us so we may check with the airline.
Delays On occasion, delays can occur to your flights, which are unfortunately out of our control. In this event, whenever possible we will ensure that the airline or operator effectively communicates the reasons for and extent of any delays and implements appropriate standards of welfare provision to our clients. ABTA recommendations state that in the event of a delay of more than three hours, clients should receive light refreshments. After six hours, clients should receive a main meal and in the event of longer delays clients should receive appropriate accommodation for the time of day. EU carriers should also follow the EU Regulation 261/2004 in the event of delays, and these can be viewed online at www.auc.org.uk
