Atlas Trekking - Mountains and Berber life, Kasbahs and oases
From April to September, the high valleys of the Atlas Mountains look absolutely stunning, with the peaks and passes still snow-capped and the green valleys below wakening up from their period of winter inactivity. In early spring, the almond and cherry trees start blossoming and at the end of the summer the crop harvesting is followed by a succession of colourful local festivals. These are wonderful times to visit this hospitable Berber heartland, where a traditional way of life continues in much the same way as it has for hundreds of years. We can arrange rambles and soft treks with a private guide, for a minimum of two persons or more, ranging from gentle 3-hour rambles and one-day mountain hikes, to 2 and 3-day treks or longer.
