Some houses are rather solid and dignified, whilst others seem to take themselves a little less seriously, and Sa Fontasa feels like one of the latter. The building is traditionally Mallorquín and the furnishings are generally rustic in style, but this house has been decorated with a lightness of touch and flashes of bright colour to make it far more chic than shabby. Charming and practical for a couple or a small family, it’s a pleasingly artistic interpretation of the classic countryside finca, idyllically placed in the rural heartland of Mallorca.
The pool and terrace are completely private, looking out over an expansive panorama of the Campanet valley and beyond. You can explore for miles though this delightful countryside, stumbling on occasional hamlets and pretty villages apparently unfazed by this most hectic of centuries. Secluded and very peaceful, Sa Fontasa is still comfortably close to the shops, restaurants and beaches of Pollensa and Alcúdia.

Lovely peaceful location with great pool. Car hire service was excellent as we had a mishap with the car and it was replaced very quickly. We also had our EasyJet flight going home cancelled and if it wasn't for Sonia and Sarah we would have slept on the streets for two nights, Sonia promptly found us a hotel and once out of the airport we were there and relaxing again. EasyJet did absolutely nothing. Many thanks Sarah and Sonia for all your help and assistance.

Wonderful sunny week in Sa Fontasa. The girls (6 + 8) loved playing in the garden and jumping in the lovely pool. Great location for exploring Pollenca and Soller. First trip to Mallorca but sure we will be back.

The villa was lovely and very well provisioned. It was very spacious with so many seating areas to take advantage of the sun or shade at different parts of the day. It is a nice quiet location, with farm animals surrounding the villa, which may not be to everyone’s taste. The complementary kids pack was excellent.

This is a beautiful property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The resort concierge was brilliant. The villa was in a fairly isolated area and the first morning we went out to get some shopping but couldn’t find our way back. Amanda came out & showed us the way back. She also put a ‘pin drop’ on my husband’s phone so that we could get back safely. She also recommended a hire shop where we could hire a mobility scooter so that I could get around more easily when we went out in the evenings.
A lovely villa in a peaceful and beautiful location. The surrounding villages of Moscari, Selva and Campanet are all worth visiting. Loved our stay, over too quickly, will be back!

Simpsons lived up to our expectations of very good customer service... these guys are exceptional compared to what you get nowadays, which is over promise and under deliver. The whole experience, from booking through to arrival back home, was such that we could enjoy our holiday free of hassle. Accommodation and location was great and despite cold and rainy weather ( came back to property from a day out, and rep. had left soup and rolls for us!), the holiday was nevertheless really enjoyable. A very peaceful place to be and we will never forget the stunning views. Graham is a wonderful rep and immediately acted on anything that went wrong. He was also wonderful to our daughter and family who have a disabled daughter.
Our fifth year with Simpson Travel and as always, they have been excellent. A big thank you to Graham for suggesting Sa Fontasa during our visit last year. He thought it would fit our wish for a quiet and rural villa in which to chill, with good walks outside the door. It couldn’t have been better. Thanks to Sonia and the wonderful Margarita for making us feel very welcome and providing such a beautiful and relaxing holiday home. Sonia also suggested we take the bus from Caimari up to Lluc and walk down the Pilgrims’ Way, which we did. Spectacular views and a lovely walk – but you need good footwear as it can be rough and slippery in places. Thank you!
We have had a very restful holiday. Eating, drinking and feeding the horse. Lovely villa. The Simpson Travel staff could not have been more helpful. Margarita was so nice and enthusiastic. Not much English but I think we all understood eventually. Great time – thank you.
Our fourth villa with Simpson Travel – previously Corsica and Crete and the best yet! Lovely house with a variety of sitting/eating out areas and a gorgeous pool. We did not venture far but the Sunday market in Pollença is a must and take Sonia’s advice on parking and go early. We liked the barbecue at Sa Topanga, on the way to Caimari and had a lovely dinner at Ta Muntanya in Selva, outside in the courtyard. Thanks to Graham and Sonia and the charming Margarita! We hope to be back next year!
First time with Simpson Travel – what an amazing villa. We don’t want to go home! So lovely and relaxing. Do check out all the neighbouring villages (Selva, Campanet, etc). We loved Sóller and catching the tram to Sóller Port. Don’t forget to feed the horse (Pacifico) apples and carrots. Tramuntana in Selva is very good. We also loved Sineu market on Wednesday morning. At the bakery there is an amazing view and great places to go, you can hear the beautiful sound of the crickets. Also, if you want to swing and relax, there is a hammock hanging at the front for you. A horse is living with you outside and is friendly. You can feed her apples. This place is amazing, hope you enjoy!
The things we enjoyed most was seeing Mars from the balcony, Campanet Caves, the swimming pool, Port de Pollença, this lovely house and Pacifico (the horse).
A much-needed relaxing week of rather mild weather! Sa Placa in Moscari square is simple and does a good pizza! The barbecue at Sa Topanga is very good. Sineu is a pretty little town – explore around the church (there is a baker in the square) and the little lanes surrounding. For shopping, the hypermarket in Inca does everything! Thank you to Margarita and Sonia. Please talk to the horse who is lovely and loves an apple.
The villa is a little gem surrounded by wonderful views of the Mallorcan countryside. The fields are full of wild flowers and it’s so relaxing just strolling around the lanes. Everyone is so friendly. If you want to go back in time, this is the place to do it and the place to eat locally is Sa Placa. Thank you, Margarita, for giving us two relaxing weeks.
The simple flat walks out of this property have been full of flowers, birds and birdsong, animals and clanging bells and there has been little other apart from the horse – perhaps the whoosh of eyelashes and driven cars – and that is all. We enjoyed the caves at Campanet and the walk in the Fonts de Llfanes wood is unique. Do visit San Miguel next to the start of the Fonts de Llanes walk, it has a significant history and you may be guided by Fernando who is local and very well informed. All the local people smile and greet you and nobody is in a rush.
This was our first holiday with Simpson Travel and hopefully won't be the last. We were very impressed from the moment we were met at Palma airport by a very friendly representative, who directed us to the car hire. This had to be the best and quickest car hire we've experienced over many years. Once at our villa, Graham the very friendly and helpful rep, visited us and was always available at the end of the phone. We would definitely recommend Simpson Travel.

The view from the terrace is amazing and can’t be drawn away from the fantastic views, the sound of the sheep bells a wonderful retreat. The mountains are great but the driver may get rather tired on the twists in the road. Coming from a rural location in Dorset, this is something very special, recommend to anyone wishing to get away from our busy lives.
Sa Fontasa is an amazing villa in a rural location with fantastic views – second to none. The town of Moscari allows you to tour the island with ease, to experience the Moroccan culture.
We have had a wonderful holiday yet again with Simpson Travel. We have explored the island, beaches, towns, Palma...but have loved coming back to this villa. A lovely two weeks in Sa Fontasa. Our first visit to Mallorca and we have been suitably impressed, as the weather has been mixed we have done a lot of exploring. We based our visits on 'the top ten things to do' from a guide book and have accomplished all but one. Finally, thanks to Margarita and Gabriel for the use of their lovely villa, and to Graham for his kindness and helpful hints.
Fabulous, relaxing location, spent several days walking in the area, to Selva, Caimari, Binibona and Moscari. A lovely walk is to Campanet. Margarita is charming and visited us.
I have used Simpson Travel for many years. The whole process of booking and travel has always been very straightforward and on the very rare occasions that problems have arisen at the properties (never the fault of Simpson), everything has been sorted out rapidly with the minimum of disruption. The three villas I've stayed in over the years have been excellent and I've always returned home feeling relaxed and refreshed. I've pre-booked a villa for next year.

This is a brilliant place. So relaxing and such magnificent views from every point. You can’t beat sitting on the veranda at the end of the day as the sun goes down, and listening to the sheep and birds. Unforgettable.
Once again Simpson Travel has found a gem in Sa Fontasa. Its owner, Margaurita and Gabriel have done an amazing job in turning this into an unique home with some really quirky features, all their own work apparently. The views from the terrace were stunning and Moscari, which is a 15-minute walk away has some really nice places to eat. We had a few issues, which the owners with the help of Graham, solved very quickly and we had some hilarious conversations with neither of us being able to speak the language. Feeding the donkey and horse was the highlight of every evening and they are very friendly. A fantastic relaxing holiday and we hope to book again for next year.
What a super place and very relaxing in beautiful surroundings. We keep horses at home and were very impressed by the condition of Rose and Pacifica. An apple cut into quarters each evening was soon part of our routine, and they seemed to appreciate it, a very lovely stay thank you.

Thank you for such an amazingly relaxing stay. Sa Fontasa is a little bubble of tranquillity and we loved every moment. Margarita and Gabriel were fantastic and Graham was hugely helpful. An absolute highlight of this wonderful place has to be the donkey (Rosa) and horse (Pacifica) – what a lovely pair of animals! I’m sure we’ll be back.

This is a most peaceful location. There is a beautiful village nearby. When you stay here you have an angel looking after you – in the form of the Simpson Travel rep – Alison. Nothing is too much trouble and she is also a 'mine' of information and cares passionately about this island.
