Our overseas assistance
All guests arriving at Greek Airports (except Athens) on our main changeover days will be assisted by a member of our local team. Our representatives are chosen for their knowledge, discretion and passion for Greece and are mostly locally based. They offer a discreet but personal service and will always be available by phone to give advice or help with any queries that may arise.
We will contact you within 24 hours of your arrival to check you have settled in comfortably and to answer any queries you may have. We will also contact you again, a couple of days before departure, to confirm the details of your flight home.
Please note we do not have representatives at the Venetian Apartments, Loutro, where the owners of the accommodation are on hand for assistance and information. Furthermore, our representative in Cephalonia, based in Fiscardo, is only available by telephone and does not carry out weekly visits.
Information guides to Greece
We provide in each of our properties in Greece, whether self-catering or a hotel (except in Athens and at the Venetian Apartments in Loutro, Crete), a specially prepared folder containing extensive information about your accommodation, your area and Greece in general. It also contains contact numbers for local assistance and for our overseas representatives.
Your complimentary Greece welcome pack
At your first self-catering property a complimentary starter pack of provisions will be provided. This will be a ‘start-up’ supply of items such as tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, water, fruit juice and a bottle of wine. We will also include additional items depending on the availability of local produce.
Premier welcome hamper
In addition to your complimentary welcome pack, we can also provide a premier welcome hamper in certain properties at a supplement to your holiday cost. The exact contents of this upgraded hamper will vary from property to property. Details are available from our UK travel consultants who are able to arrange this service up to 2 weeks prior to departure.
Chilled French champagne on arrival
Let us know if you would like us to arrange for a bottle of good French champagne to be chilled and waiting for you on your arrival at your self-catering property – the perfect way to start your holiday. We can provide well-known brands such as Moët et Chandon from £30 per bottle. Details are available from our UK travel consultants and can be arranged up to two weeks prior to departure. This service cannot be offered at the Venetian Apartments in Loutro.
Weddings in Crete
For a memorable wedding in the sun, we can arrange your wedding ceremony, reception and honeymoon at the delightful St Nicolas Bay and Istron Bay Hotels, who would be delighted to welcome you and your wedding party. After a civil wedding ceremony at the hotel or in the Town Hall in Agios Nikolaos, the hotel can organise a wedding banquet or a gala dinner with live music, to suit your budget. Greek orthodox ceremonies can also be conducted at the chapel on the beach at the St Nicolas Bay Hotel. Please consult our UK sales team for further details.
