The professionally-run Periyali creche is central to our concept of a relaxing family holiday. Within a short walk of all the villas (click here to visit the Periyali Villas page) and with its own shaded terrace and secure outdoor area, the crèche is as attractively laid out in the surrounding gardens. Facilities are bright, airy and equipped with toys and childfriendly furniture.

We are aware that for parents to feel confident in leaving their children, no detail can be overlooked, so we have used a specialist British company Nannies Abroad to advise us on building up an enjoyable and well-run environment with supervised activities.

The crèche at Periyali is staffed by nannies selected and vetted in the UK, all of whom have an NNEB or equivalent qualification. Supervised activities are available in different age groups from babies upwards with the appropriate child-tostaff ratios. The ’Hatchlings’ crèche (6 months – 4 years) and the ‘Turtles Club’ (for school-age children 5 – 10 years) will be split down into smaller groups according to the ages of the children. Separate activities will be tailored to the relevant age groups.

There is also a new unsupervised play area with table tennis and other games to keep the children occupied even out of Club hours.

Children will be involved in a mixture of energetic and more peaceful activities, art and crafts, and other fun projects. Activities take place at the Periyali making full use of the lovely gardens and modernised Club facility. Among many possible activities are finger painting, games, themed days, conservation projects or mask-making. The safety and happiness of all children is paramount and the standards of care and structure of the crèche have been designed to give maximum peace of mind to parents leaving their children in our nannies’ care.

Crèche facilities include a sandpit and a larger shaded pergola area plus a selection of robust toys. Indoors we have a library of children’s books and DVDs and plenty of cool space for playing and resting. Parents will provide packed lunches where applicable but fresh water and snacks will be available all day.

As part of the pre-booked Club options, there will be evening Club sessions twice a week to allow parents to go out for dinner.
