Wow! What an outstanding hotel The White Orchid is and we were so happy with our Luisia suite. Positives - everything, negatives- nothing. Well, we don’t really know how to describe White Orchid other than saying it is ‘paradise’. The views are just breath-taking from the pool. The room has been kept immaculately clean and has everything you could possibly need. The bed is comfy, shower great and the design is very classy. Vivian and Herm have been wonderful hosts and really looked after as well. I am a very fussy eater and Vivian has been so kind to prepare separate breakfasts for me that I can eat. They have been beautiful breakfasts too. This was our first visit to Greece and it was so much better than I expected. We are now hooked and love it. Wish we had come for two weeks but we will definitely be back. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else other than the stunning White Orchid, truly amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the White Orchid. Such a beautiful spot overlooking the small islands off Sivota and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything required for a perfect holiday. It was gloriously peaceful and many an hour was spent in the infinity pool watching the activity on the water below. A small beach withiin walking distance was often unoccupied, making it feel very private and ideal for an early morning or late evening swim. Sivota was probably less than 5 minutes drive, plenty to do and see in the immediate and wider Epiros region! The owner was freiendly and welcoming, quite rightly proud of her hotel. The Simpson concierges and hotel staff were lovely too, and very helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property and the area, and will be back ourselves at some point.

The location of White Orchid provides a quiet haven. The early morning vista from the extensive balcony of our stylish and simple suite (Luisia) was a highlight. To look out over the azure of the Ionian Sea each morning with the sun rising over the hills to the east provided a wonderful start to the day. The ‘secluded beach’ is a gem best enjoyed early in the morning or late afternoon. Stuart and Jana are excellent hosts with wonderful and unobtrusive support from Eva with her happy smiling countenance as she looks after the suites and supports breakfast service. Nothing is too much trouble and they were all most welcoming providing helpful tips about places to visit or do. The breakfasts, and the daily variety, provided a really great start to the day.

Wow! Where to begin? Our whole experience from start to finish has been excellent. Nothing prepared us for how wonderful it was; the photos really don’t do it justice, the place is magical. In some ways I don't want to highlight how wonderful White Orchid and the beautiful harbour village of Sivota really was during our 2-week stay. Why? Because it is a beautiful quiet place so far unspoiled by the masses. So if you read this tell no one! The secret ingredient of our wonderful holiday was our fantastic host, Stuart, and his team of Jana and Eva. From their kind personalities to their ever ready helpfulness to the amazing breakfasts. All that is then required is to relax, enjoy the surroundings and the local people and culinary experiences. A highlight was the surprise fizz and flowers presented to us on our 21st wedding anniversary and the fuss made of the two of us. It's these sort of touches that set the team at Simpson apart from the competition. We had been looking forward to this holiday for more than a year and we were not disappointed in any way, in fact the experience far exceeded our expectations. The staff at White Orchid – Stuart, Rania, Eva and Letta – were all lovely, they were friendly, attentive and helpful but never intrusive. The hotel itself is lovely, so comfortable and relaxing, and the setting is simply stunning – the view of the Ionian Sea every morning was wonderful to wake up to. Stuart, the concierge, was always somehow magically on hand whenever you needed him and seemed to have an endless supply of treats (many of which he baked himself) including water melon, pineapple or ice creams, either by the pool or as you passed on your way somewhere. His knowledge of local places of interest to visit or where best to eat in the evenings, was superb and never failed us. I have to add a particular thank you to Stuart for helping us with a punctured tyre, rather than messing around with getting the tyre replaced, he simply arranged for the car hire company to swap the car for us! A wonderful experience with so many things that we enjoyed. This was a holiday we will always remember very fondly.

We travelled with Simpson Travel for our 30th wedding anniversary, choosing Kinabalu, the penthouse suite. White Orchid is a very special little hotel with just eight rooms, a quite beautiful infinity pool, and wonderful staff. The suite has 180-degree panoramic views which are almost impossible to tear your eyes away from. We found it hard to drag ourselves away, but had a great day on the ‘big round’ tour of Paxos and Anti Paxos which has excellent sea swimming. Stuart, the Simpson Travel concierge, organised a VIP trip to Albania – three couples, a guide, a driver and a mini-bus and more packed lunch than we could ever eat! A very interesting trip that we would certainly recommend. We also took a motor boat out for a half day and discovered lovely, quiet beaches. Perfect again! The peace and quiet, the surroundings, and the way we were looked after was everything we had hoped for, and more. If lazy days, a blissful pool, traditional Greek food within easy reach and a handful of wonderful people helping you to have a holiday to remember, then chances are you will fall in love with White Orchid. We were very sad to leave.

We have just experienced the most wonderful fortnight in Greece. My first trip to Greece and the bar has been set extremely high. We spent our first week at White Orchid in Sivota and it was absolutely perfect. We visited Meteora and Metsovo one day, but were more than happy to be at White Orchid as it was such a lovely place to relax. We then moved to the Simpson Secret - Anti Paxos and what bliss. The island and the villa are spectacular. We saw a huge range of wildlife and just enjoyed watching the world go by on the Ionian Sea, walking down the path and swimming in crystal clear waters. White Orchid Hotel – what a gem of a place. Simpson Travel’s attention to detail and Stuart’s and Rania’s warmth and helpfulness gave us a perfect week. As well as the lovely accommodation and views, our other highlights included trips to Parga and Albania. In Parga, the highlight was the olive oil factory and food from the restaurant run by the family who own the olive oil museum. We went to Albania for a day – a private tour with a fluent English speaking Albanian. It was not cheap, but we went to Butrint before the crowds arrived and our guide was so knowledgeable. We drove through Saranda and saw the amazing views from the castle and had a quick dip in the icy, fresh water of the Blue Eye.

Perfection – White Orchid has just got it all right. From the moment you arrive and see the view you know that you are in for a treat.
