Flight Schedules
Included in your holiday price (see 'Flight supplements' below) are return economy seats to Palma, Málaga, Gibraltar, Granada, Jerez or Seville. As we do not pre-purchase restrictive chartered seats in advance, we are able to offer our guests the flexibility of flights from most UK airports, such as London Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted but also Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and many more regional airports. Furthermore, we are able to offer flights on a choice of scheduled, ‘no-frills’ and charter airlines.
Our Travel Consultants will be able to advise you on routes and flights available and will be pleased to find the most convenient airport, flights and timings for you. Please be advised that in most cases we may have to book, pay for and ‘ticket’ your flights at the time of booking, we will ask you to pay an increased deposit to cover the cost of the flight in addition to the £125 per person deposit. The exact amount will be quoted to you at the time of booking and this payment will be non-refundable
From March 28* – October 31** our changeover day is normally a Friday.
*As Easter falls at the beginning of our main season we are able to be more flexible with departure dates and the duration of the holiday. Our sales team will be pleased to advise you details.
**As the October half-term falls in the last week of our main season we are able to be more flexible with departure dates and the duration of the holiday. Our sales team will be pleased to advise you details.
The flights listed below operate on most days of the week and give greater flexibility, particularly for ‘hotel-based’ holidays.
Please note that the below timings are for guidance only as individual flight times are subject to change.

Please be advised that when you fly into Gibraltar you will be met by a car hire representative who will accompany you across the border into Spain. You will be carrying/pulling your own luggage until you get to the car where the contract will then be signed. There are no porters nor luggage trolleys, we would therefore ask you to consider carefully, prior to booking, whether you are comfortably able to transport your own luggage without any assistance from the terminal in Gibraltar to the car in La Linea – a distance of approximately 200metres. If you are in any doubt – we would recommend you opt for one of the flights into Málaga, Jerez or Seville.

*‘No frills’ flight: Terms and conditions for each carrier differs, some allocate seats at check whilst others like Easyjet and Ryanair for instance offer ‘free seating’ i.e. first passengers to board the aircraft get the best choice of where to sit. Some of the airlines allow guests to pre book seats with extra legroom to ensure seating together at a supplement. Meals are not provided however snacks can be bought on board. The luggage allowance for each airline varies - most however allow 20kg of hold luggage per person – excluding infants. In all cases the amount of luggage is strictly controlled and excess luggage charges are made direct to the airline of handling agent before passengers are issued their boarding passes.
**Scheduled service flights operated by Easy Jet on behalf of British Airways
***Scheduled service ‘no-frills’ flight operated by Monarch Airlines (Please Note: the standard leg room is configured as for charter flights. Meals are not provided however snacks can be bought onboard. For a reasonable supplement, payable at time of booking, passengers can reserve extra leg room seats on most Monarch Scheduled flights – this will give you up to 6inches extra leg room, providing extra space for those who value comfort on these short flights.
****Scheduled service flight operated by Iberia Airlines – meals are not provided however snacks can be bought onboard.
API (Additional Passenger Information)
Spain now requires that the airline take from each passenger, additional personal information such as full name, date and place of birth, passport number and full expiry date. We will need to ask you for this information at the time of booking or you may need to provide the airline with this information at the time of check-in.
Flight supplements The cost of flights in all our holidays is based on the expected costs at time of going to press, which gives us the greater flexibility to buy in a wider variety of flights according to our clients’ needs. However please note that supplements may be applicable on certain routes and certain dates, according to availability at time of booking. Supplements will always be confirmed with you at the time of booking. As a rule of thumb, the later the flight is booked, the higher the price. Therefore those booking earlier will secure the best flight prices and have the best choice of flight availability.
Change of flight times Our brochures are compiled many months before airlineschedules are finalised, and the flight timings shown are correct at the time of going to print. However, all airlines reserve the right to amend their flying schedules prior to departure. We will always advise you of any significant changes as soon as the airline (or their agents) notify us. The most up to date times will always be shown on your itinerary, sent out with your tickets at least two weeks before your departure. Please check these documents carefully upon receipt and advise us immediately of any discrepancies.
Winter flying schedules The flights listed are as per the summer schedule from May until October inclusive. Airlines normally operate a different schedule during the winter months from November to April inclusive, reflecting the demand for holidays at this time of year.
Name changes The name shown on a ticket must exactly match the name of the passenger travelling, as it appears in his/her passport (first full name and surname). If not, you may be refused boarding and have to purchase a new ticket for your journey, so please ensure that you give us the correct names of all passengers at the time of booking. Once your flights have been booked, it is not usually possible to make name changes without incurring charges, sometimes the full price of a new ticket. If there are any errors on your invoice or your flight tickets, please inform us immediately.
In-flight meals and special diets If the airline you are travelling with offers free in-flight meals, requests for special meals (ie vegetarian, vegan, kosher) should be made at the time of booking. Regretfully we cannot request special meals less than 7 days prior to departure. Whilst we will always pass your request onto the airline, we are, unable to guarantee supply. Charges may apply and we will confirm these to you at the time of booking. For peace of mind, we recommend that you reconfirm your special in-flight meal request at check in. Please note, if you are travelling with a ‘no-frills’ airline, meals are not provided but snacks and drinks can usually be purchased on board.
In-flight comfort Most airlines configure their aircraft to optimise the number of passengers they can carry. In general this means the seating on charter and ‘no frills’ flights is not as comfortable as that offered by the scheduled airlines. However, on a positive note, by minimising costs and maximising capacity, these airlines can fly from a much wider range of destinations bringing economical, direct flights to the regional airports. We fully appreciate that the importance of in-flight comfort varies from one passenger to another. Sme airlines offer passengers the opportunity to pre-book seats with extra leg room – supplements start from £10 per person one-way. Please discuss this with us at the time of booking, and we can advise you if this is possible and how to check availability for such seats.
Seating on ‘No-frills’ flights Please note that some airlines allocate seats at check-in whilst others, such as Easyjet and Ryanair, offer ‘free seating’ i.e. first passengers to board the aircraft get the best choice of seats. Please check with us at the time of booking if you have any concerns in this respect.
Group seating Some charter and ‘no frills’ airlines offer passengers the opportunity of pre-booking guaranteed seats together at a pre-paid supplement. Prices vary but will typically cost from £10 per adult and £5 per child. Please note that the seats allocated may be situated either side of an aisle. Please advise at time of booking if you would like to book group seating, and we can confirm if it is possible and at what cost.
Luggage allowance Most airlines allow 20kg of luggage per person – excluding infants, but some airlines offer less (especially ‘no-frills’ airlines, who often ask you to pre-book your luggage allowance at the time of reservation). This will be confirmed to you either at the time of booking or when your tickets are sent out. In all cases the amount of luggage is strictly controlled and excess luggage charges are made direct to the airline of handling agent before passengers are issued their boarding passes. If you wish to check-in any bulky items (for example bicycles, golf clubs or surf gear), please inform us so we may check with the airline.
Scheduled flight upgrades Those passengers for whom space and comfort is a priority, we recommend upgrading to the superior services offered by the scheduled carriers in the Club Europe cabin on Easy Jet flights and in the Business Class cabin on Iberia Airlines. Monarch Airlines also offer upgraded seating with up to 6 inches extra leg room for a very reasonable supplement – please advise at time of booking.
Delays On occasion, delays can occur to your flights, which are unfortunately out of our control. In this event, whenever possible we will ensure that the airline or operator effectively communicates the reasons for and extent of any delays and implements appropriate standards of welfare provision to our clients. ABTA recommendations state that in the event of a delay of more than three hours, clients should receive light refreshments. After six hours, clients should receive a main meal and in the event of longer delays clients should receive appropriate accommodation for the time of day. EU carriers should also follow the EU Regulation 261/2004 in the event of delays, and these can be viewed online at www.auc.org.uk
